Our plans kept changing because of COVID and every time we had the change our reservation the staff was very helpful. Our site had plenty of room. The park is quite at night even with it being full. The swimming hole on the river was nice. The current is not very strong and the water felt great on a hot day. The only negative is the office only has ice and a few small things so if you forget something you will have to go back to town but it’s not to far away.

We stayed in early to mid June. Upon arrival I was a bit concerned by the tight quarters. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it became after dark. It was great that we were about 15 minutes from the south entrance to Sequoia N.P. If the spaces were a little farther apart I’d give 5 stars.

I went for just two days. Friendly Campers, Staff, etc! Just a positive feeling! The spots along the River are really nice! Because Sequoia National Park was closed I asked if I could cancel one day and they obliged.

Made reservations 8 months prior to visit to insure a pull through site with 50 amp service. Checked in and assigned my premium 50 amp pull through site. The site was very narrow with a large tree so no way to put out awning and large root crossing site. Site was so far out of level we had to put down blocks of wood and raise the jacks as far as possible to get level. This put my rear duels 3” off the ground and front passenger tire just touching the ground. Pavers were totally raised and unlevel and table falling apart. The site did not have 50 amp power and no indication it ever did. An employee who stated he was the manager when the regular manager was not there said if you don’t like it you can just leave. The place is very close to Sequia National Park so we endured this but will never ever use them again. Note that they did call this a premium site. If this is premium then just imagine what a standard site might be.

Response from SequoiaRvRanch, Manager at Sequoia RV Ranch

Hello Bruce, I've read your review and spoken withe employees here and hear about the interactions you had yesterday. I'm sorry to hear you're unhappy but I can understand your frustration. We will be doing a large scale project this fall of removing the existing cement pads and replacing them with leveled gravel pads. We have pictures here on trip adviser of our campground, including the different types of sites, on our website so people can see what the different types of sites can look like before they arrive. Yes, we are very close to the southern entrance to Sequoia National Park which makes it a great spot to stay as a base camp when you're visiting the park. If you would like to speak with the regular manager, feel free to call me at 559-561-4333 and ask for David. Thanks for your feedback, - David at Sequoia RV Ranch

Loved this place! Such a beautiful setting, each pitch has a fire pit and picnic table and bench set.our teenage boys had great fun creating a fire in the evening. The ranch is situated near to 3 rivers pick up point for the shuttle bus into sequoia, which made it an easy base, there are shipped near the pick up point too. After our day in sequoia, we walked to the water hole and swam in the Chrystal clear river, it is all so picturesque. I thoroughly recommend this place, I would have loved to have stayed longer but we had a Yosemite RV park booked up after here
