Love this place! We’ve stayed here several times over the last few months while researching the area & relocating to NE. The staff are always exceptionally helpful. Shannon is awesome & so accommodating. The rooms are very spacious & location is great! I like the window bench/shelf area as I always prefer to set our luggage there even though they do provide a decent sized closet. The kitchenette is perfect & separates the sleeping area from the sofa. Mom in law’s room was also perfect for her. She’s almost 90 & her room has a cushy, heated massage chair. The step in shower was perfect as she uses a walker & tubs are extremely difficult for her. This morning Trevor was at the desk & he too was very helpful. I can’t say enough good things about the Monument Inn. Highly recommend!!
4 friends were on a motorcycle trip and planned on staying one night. A freak snowstorm came thought and we ended up staying another night. It was very nice having such large rooms to spend much of the "snow day". The staff was great and the place very clean.
Surprising and unexpected room! I did not expect to have a kitchenette in the room along with a nice leather sofa. The fridge was definitely larger than the normal hotel fridge; plenty of room for our needs. It was really nice having a regular sink – bar sized, rather than trying to wash dishes in the bathroom sinks. We normally bring food to “cook” in microwaves at hotels; with the pandemic, this was even more critical as we do not normally eat in restaurants; a personal choice due to trying to eat healthier after a 2 year bout with cancer. The only “complaint” is that while the room was booked as a queen suite, the bed was actually only a double bed. Comfortable, but smaller than expected; it worked out for us as we are not big people. It was not a deal breaker at all. The room was quiet; we did hear some light traffic noise for a short while in the early evening, but all settled down before bedtime. No noise from other rooms at all, and the hotel was full. At check in we were given a “welcome” bag with 2 water bottles, 2 orange juice bottles (Tropicana), 2 granola bars, 2 bags of Amos’ chocolate cookies and 2 Del Monte fruit cups. This was in place of the normal hot breakfast. Thank you pandemic for no longer allowing hot foods at hotels. Would be happy to stay here again in the future!…
Plenty of parking, friendly staff, quiet neighborhood, good rooms with all you need. Due to covid situation breakfast room is closed. But the hotel prepares a good breakfast bag which is handed over during the easy check in process. All good.
