This is a very nice hotel in the heart of Santa Fe. It is a recently refurbished historic hotel with all of the modern amenities. The staff was courteous and attentive. The rooms were nicely furnished and quiet. The concierge was very helpful and new the popular places and some with local color. The restaurants and bars in the hotel...

I had never been to Santa Fe and this hotel had been recommended because it was right in the middle of everything that a first time tourist to Santa Fe should see. The location was perfect (parked the car and never drove it until I left), the surrounding shops were wonderful, the restaurant in the hotel was first class and...

I like this hotel for its location... right in the heart of all the activity! It is great to be able to walk to wonderful restaurants, stores and attractions. The hotel staff is very nice and willing to help. The rooms tend to be on the smaller size (especially for the price) and do not have much in the way...

My friend and I visit Santa Fe every year and have stayed at a number of different hotels in the area. NONE compare to La Fonda. It's location puts you in the heart of historic Santa Fe and convenient to shopping and dining. La Fonda is first class from the reservations to the front desk to any employee you encounter....

Our first impression of La Fonda was pulling into their garage. A smiling Daniel struck the hotel's keynote in offering help parking or unloading our luggage. That same warm hospitality permeated our stay. Each day we felt welcomed and even pampered. The service was unparalleled. The La Fonda excels at keeping the flavor of an older age while offering everything...

Beautiful historic hotel, on the plaza in old Santa Fe. Walking distance to beautiful sights and shopping, food, etc. Day trips to Georgia O'Keefes house(make reservations), Taos, Bandalier, Madrid. Fly into Albuquerque, drive the turquoise trail to Santa Fe. Stop at Tinkertown on the way.

Located on the southeast corner of the Plaza, this is Santa Fe charm at its best and most authentic. The concierges are professional, the rooms are charming, the restaurants have become good, the atmosphere is real, only the down stair bar lacks attention.

We stayed at La Fonda for our first visit to Santa Fe, because of TripAdvisor great reviews and a local recommendation. We loved it. The front desk staff were all friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The concierge was excellent. He made an excellent recommendation for dinner because he goes to the restaurants around town and he asks the right questions to...
