My wife and I recently returned to the Inn at Loretto for our 20th Anniversary, as we had our wedding reception there in 2002. We hadn't been back since that time, and we were so happy that we went, we were not disappointed. We really had an amazing time, magical almost. The staff were welcoming and incredibly helpful. We were greeted in our room with a wonderful bottle of Greut Sparking Champaigne (very good sparkling wine made in New Mexico) and chocolate truffles. A great way to Strat the weekend. Everything was amazing about our stay, two amazing dinners at Geronimo and Sazon. (the 2 best restaurants in Santa Fe). Perhaps the best was the General Manager Hall, he made us feel so incredibly special. truly. Made a big deal that we had our reception there 20 years ago. Went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of, and made a personal phone call to the owner and head chef of Sazoin, Fernando Olea, while we were standing talking to him. .. . we went there for dinner that night and were treated like celebrities. (which we are not). My wife and I almost were in tears, we really were treated so well by everyone. . . .I realize not everyone will have the same experience that we had, but just have to say how wonderful and magical the Inn at Loretto is for us. . . . . hopefully will not be another 20 years.…
One of the nicest trips/hotels I've been on in awhile. The hotel was so lovely and cozy and the service was next level. My husband and I came to town for a wedding and it was just so lovely. The team at the front desk was quick, efficient, attentive, and helpful. The General Manager, Hal, was so involved and attended to every need (I've never met a hotel GM while as a guest and Hal was so on top of it). He knew every detail of the hotel and worked so hard to ensure we had a nice time. The restaurant/bar staff was similarly wonderful and made sure we were well taken care of. Can't say enough good things and can't wait to go back!!
Our wedding anniversary was a romantic celebration that included a tour of the beautiful hotel, with an absolutely delicious buffalo ribs and maple glazed carrots dinner prepared by Chef Tony and a special bubbly toast served by Daniel, an extremely helpful man who welcomed us to our dining experience! Our room was a very charming and quaint southwestern room with a huge bed and a big walkout deck with lounge chairs on the top floor. We highly recommend it!
Two couples enjoyed a long weekend visit to Santa Fe staying at the Loretto. What a great central location. Very comfy bed and nice view of pool area from our balcony on the 2nd floor. Perfect for morning coffee. We wish we had asked for a room closer to the elevator as our room ended up some distance from the closest elevator. Our room was very dark. We would have welcomed additional lighting as difficult to see inside your suitcase with such little lighting. The bar was lively and fun with well made beverages. A nice crowd any time we went. Nice shops inside the hotel but very expensive!
Great hotel, Anahi at the front desk extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Luminaria Restaurant the food was amazing for all meals. Carlos for breakfast was incredible. Ziahi was great too. Truly recommend hotel, the bar was great also as well as staff and managers. Cleaning staff was superb too!
First of all, we loved our stay at the hotel. Great lobby and bar, and our room was perfect. Clean, cozy, sunny, and four-poster bed. But here's the cool part. I was speaking yesterday with Tracy, one of the concierge pro's. I mentioned that I was hoping to ski while we were in town. Tracy told me all about this excellent local ski area called Ski Santa Fe. Really good terrain. Anyway, this morning, I went up there, and guess who I ran into in the lift line... Tracy! He gave me a personal tour of the resort. We skied the whole time until I had to get back to town. This was the best ski day I've had for years. Best of all, Tracy is an awesome skier. I could hardly keep up. Thank you, Tracy!!
Loved our stay! Would definitely return to the Inn and Spa Loretto if we find ourselves in Santa Fe again! Friendly staff, cozy lounge with fireplace, and walking distance to so many great galleries and restaurants. The spa is also lovely!
We met for a last minute girls trip from all over the country. We did minimal planning but the staff were so helpful in giving us an itinerary and got us some amazing dinner reservations. The hotel was clean and had an awesome breakfast (don’t miss the Bloody Mary!). I can’t say enough positive things about the hotel and staff. Perfect location to great restaurants and all of Santa Fe’s attractions. We will go back :)
Be aware of parking in the valet lot. We had our 2 bikes stolen off our secure, locked bike rack. The unfortunate thing was that my husband asked the valet attendant if the bikes should be removed from the rack, & the attendant indicated that the lot was safe. After the bikes were discovered stolen, we asked about the valet lot camera & were told that it wasn’t working.
Beautiful classic Sante Fe hotel in a perfect location! The staff was incredible- Hal especially made this trip filled with memories that will last a lifetime and he went above and beyond expectations time and again. All the staff was wonderfully accommodating and welcoming. From the hotel there are Incredible restaurants within walking distance (if you can’t get a reservation ask Hal- he knows everyone), beautiful sunset and sunrise views, bars for evening entertainment (fancy or dive), art galleries galore- Sante Fe was amazing. There was enough to do and see that once we arrived we never had to drive until we left. The food AT the hotel was delicious and the restaurant there was beautiful too. While all the rooms aren’t updated, they are charming as is the rest of the hotel and very comfortable. The hotel main level has wonderful shops, a gorgeous bar area, fireplace and seating areas to enjoy. I can’t emphasize enough how wonderful my friend’s and my experience was- the best compliment to show how happy I am is I am already planning a trip to come back with my husband within a month or two and as a pretty frequent traveler I almost never repeat destinations. A+ service, quality, location.…
