Really enjoyed my stay here. Location is great - just off the plaza, which in retrospect was the right choice since it’s a bit quieter. Everything is in walking distance - Santa Fe just isn’t that big. Very comfortable room, and the restaurant is excellent. The staff was very nice and friendly, and was a pleasure to interact with. I will definitely stay here the next time I’m in Santa Fe.

Hotel's Favorite
Right in the heart of Santa Fe, the Inn and Spa Loretto is close to all the artistic attractions of Canyon Street, just 2 blocks from the main square and excellent restaurants. Rooms are quaint in the Southwestern tradition, comfortable with a corner fireplace (candle use only) and ours had a balcony. Service and restaurant is excellent....Right next door is the Loretto chapel with the 'miraculous staircase' as featured on a tv show. $5.00 will get you in to the chapel to view and see its history.. My companions who utilized the Spa services raved about it...and say its rated as one of the top spas in the country... The bar area on Friday and Saturday evenings had live music...not overpowering and better than most lounge performers....nice.... In short, the Inn and Spa at Loretto is first class in its Adobe southwestern style.

I come to Santa Fe often and this was my first viditvyo the Loretto This is a beautiful hotel with good service and a nice lobby. Rooms are a little dark and claustrophobic, but have beautiful furnishings and nice beds and linens. Internet was good. They let me bring my dog. My biggest issue was that (in room 202) I could literally hear everything in the adjoining room; every time they spoke, flushing of the toilet, closing the room door. If you are loud and/or watch a lot of TV, this may not bother you, but trying to read or sleep is another story. The hotel offered to move us to another room, but at 10:30pm, I was bushed and just decided to stay put. The front desk says they never had this complaint before, so I kind of felt like a high maintenance guest. I probably will not stay here again.

The hotel is very well located! You can simply park your car at the hotel (free) and walk to every attraction! Beautiful view of the mountain if you get a room with a balcony! The staff, Karen (the guardian of the night), was very kind and helpful! The downside about this hotel is that the water for shower wasn’t hot enough! The staff explained that it takes longer for the rooms on the 4th floor to get hot water due to the old age of the property.

Pros: Location. Outside pseudo- Adobe architecture, interior rooms and hallways, open lobby/lounge/bar area, attentive front desk Cons: No activities, smallish pool always with families, expensive restaurant requiring you to leave grounds, no welcome packet. No hot tubs or jacuzzi. High amenities charge for little amenities. Recommendations: Please create more spaces for adults-only relaxation. Was surprised there weren’t outside social balconies or space to enjoy the sunset with a cocktail or hammocks to read/nap.
