This hotel is transitioning to Starwood. The patio eating experience was always one of those special Santa Fe experiences. Beautiful setting, great service and very good food. All that has changed under new management. The menu has an odd collection of dishes that make no sense for Santa Fe dining. It is not their main dining room menu as it... More

We have to respectfully disagree with your comments on our patio dining experience. The menu features burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads and entrees such as USDA Prime steaks, chicken, salmon and house smoked pork tenderloin. Nothing weird about that. If you were expecting New Mexican cuisine our guests - including locals - have voted over whelming against that. More

La Posada is centrally located. The decor is beautiful and comfortable with well equipped hotel rooms. The pool is lovely after a warm day in town. The food and margaritas were some of the best we had in all of Santa Fe.

Thank you for your kind words. I'm partial to the blood orange Margarita myself but they are all good. We've just finished replacing all of the pool furniture with brand new colorful designs and it looks great. More

La Posada has changed hands a few times, but it is still a lovely hotel. The old building an bar are gorgeous. It is close to downtown, just a couple blocks, and the rooms are very nice. The staff was very helpful.

Always love to hear about our guests visits to La Posada. We agree the historic Staab House lounge is a great place to end the day and glad you enjoyed it. More

We held our same sex wedding here and they could not have been more accommodating! Working with David Stone at the hotel was the easiest thing to do as he instinctively knew what we wanted and took care of the whole thing. As I did most of the planning and organizing beforehand, when David took over there were no cares... More

Overall, my experience at La Posada de Santa Fe was very, very good. It is a beautiful complex, very close to the plaza, and my room was lovely (if small). The staff members were welcoming and helpful. The included resort experiences were very nice (a presentation by the resort's art curator, wine and hors d'oeuvres, and a concert). It is... More

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your visit. You are correct about Wifi issues. We have engineered a fix but it is taking some time to get fully implemented. This is the first I've heard of cell phone reception issues. I can tell you I walk the property every day and have not had an issue... More

We have stayed at a few hotels in SF, and this one had many positives like good location, friendly staff, beautiful grounds, and complimentary champagne on arrival. However, the rooms were underwhelming in quality compared to the other hotels we've stayed at, though the cost was higher, which could be attributed to the resort-ish amenities like valet parking, shuttle around... Just spent 3 nights at this hotel for conference in Santa Fe and had a wonderful time. It is a great location, 5 minute walk from the Plaza, museums and cathedral and about 9 minute walk to the convention centre. I had a rental car and I didn't use it except to drive from and to the airport in Alberquerque.... More

We spent 2 nights here and had a great time. We go to Santa Fe about once a year but this was our first time staying here. The customer service was outstanding! The grounds were beautiful and the food was really good too! We'll be staying here again. The location is very central to The Plaza and Canyon Drive.

We appreciate you taking the time to tell us about your experience. Happy to hear you enjoyed our food. We now have multiple dining venues open including Julia, our namesake nicer restaurant, Viga a bar and grill and of course the best patio dining in Santa Fe. I'll start off on a positive note by saying that La Posada's location was great. It's very close to the Santa Fe square and main attractions. Other than that I think we would have had a better experience staying at a Motel 6. I had requested early check in and an upgrade, both of which were confirmed by email. I arrived... More

Thank you for your response and we apologize this visit did not meet your expectations. A couple of points of clarification, first we believe we've identified your reservation and your request for an upgrade and early check in was confirmed but we did not - could not - guarantee they could be honored because of high occupancy. The hotel is very nice. They do offer a car valet service. The desk clerks are very nice. They give you a map and show you how to get there and where the pool/restaurants are located.
