The Galisteo room is by the street and before the parking gate, but it was extremely quiet at night and very safe. I enjoyed the New Mexico styled large room with its sitting area, and every night I used the kiva fireplace that was restocked with kindling daily. The breakfast

El Farolito is a perfect place if you are looking for quiet, lovely simplicity. The breakfast room is immaculate, comfortable, and charming. I wanted to be a bit removed from the center of Santa Fe but within walking distance, and this was perfect. The room was pretty, clean,

There is absolutely nothing negative to say about El Farolito. From individual casitas to lovely breakfasts, our stay was perfect. Wayne was the most knowledgeable innkeeper we have met. Wayne knew everything about the area from detailed history to restaurants to museums.

The only other important information to consider is that the parking lot is actually covered by gravel, which would be next to impossible to traverse in a wheelchair or walker. It might be possible to be dropped off at the door of the casita and take the one step up into it's patio and another small one through it's front door (although some don't have the step up).

There was a tub shower combo in our room. The bathroom was very tight, and a bit on the tired side.

All of the rooms have private bathrooms with tub/shower combinations and Mexican tile surrounds. I would choose Delgado as it's at the end of the building and has a nice little private patio. Both rooms have wood-burning fireplaces that are used until May 1. Starting May 1, all rooms also have A/C.

"Galisteo room was great though other rooms are located on the courtyard as well. Look for one with a fireplace during the colder months."
"All the rooms are great.. private something for everyone.."
"Casita Garcia was quiet with a private patio."
"Inside the gate."
"We prefer the San Pasqual room as next to large patio and breakfast room. It is very quiet."
