The Madeleine is truly a wonderful bed and breakfast experience. This old Victorian home is elegant and inviting. The Morning Glory room is beautifully furnished, and its decor is tasteful. The stained glass windows in this particular room made the start of each day peaceful and serene. Morning breakfasts are included in the stay and are absolutely outstanding. Guests enjoy...

Gee, what a fabulous review! The Madeleine is an incredible old home, built in 1886 by a railroad tycoon. Those original stained glass windows are quite remarkable, aren't they?! As for the staff, we have worked together for so long now that we feel as though we are one big family, and that warmth is extended to our guests as...

The Madeleine is a wonderful b & b in every respect. It's located just a short walk from the Plaza on a quiet side street. Breakfasts are ample and delicious, with a hot dish plus cereals, fruit, sweet breads, etc. every day (make sure to try the killer granola). Happy hour at 5 is also a treat, a good way...

I am tickled pink that you so enjoyed your stay with us. Yes, the granola is incredible, isn't it? If you didn't get the recipe while you were staying with us, please shoot us an email. I am happy to share our recipes. We look forward to seeing you again for more great conversation with staff and your fellow guests.

Were here for several days during a conference and folk art fair and this was a unique blend of walkable to the Plaza, quiet and remote, wonderful breakfasts, and with a parking space. Older victorian home tastefully and with care turned into b+b. Warm nights on the porch, in the garden seating, and a back patio. Room generous size, wonderful...

Thank you for such a positive review on your recent stay with us. You were with us during a warm spell, but even so, Santa Fe nights tend to be ever so enjoyable - as you say, a great time to relax on the front porch or in the gardens. You are correct - the peace and tranquility of The...

Perfect is the first and only word that springs to mind. The food, the service, the staff, the ambience, the cleanliness, the beauty of the setting. The Inn does it perfectly. And for Santa Fe, the cost is quite reasonable and considerably less than even a garden variety hotel in the downtown area. Thank you Carolyn, Diana, and George.

Live the life of a Railroad Baron. A beautiful Turn-of-the-Century home built from railroad profits is now a wonderful, walk-able, and comfortable B&B Plus! Not only a great breakfast but a Happy Hour, too! We stayed in one of the smallest rooms and found it perfect. Great bed, great assistance and a great massage (@ Nirvana - on-site) if desired....

I am so pleased you enjoyed staying in the "baron's" home. This 1886 Queen Anne Victorian was indeed built by a railroad tycoon. Our Absolute Nirvana Spa, located in the back gardens, is a completely new structure - our staff of Master Level therapists are sure to know how to work out all the kinks! As for getting to Santa...

The Madeleine provides a satisfying B&B experience to complement your Santa Fe visit. Elegant rooms and furnishings, comfortable nooks for reading and relaxing inside and verdant patios outside, plus a world renowned spa. You'll enjoy a great breakfast with southwestern flair and complimentary afternoon reception with wine and snacks. Best of all: a great staff and interesting medley of guests....

After staying at various Santa Fe hotels, we finally opted to try a B&B. It was a lucky strike. Two blocks from the plaza, very comfortable rooms, and a REAL breakfast -- authentic New Mexico dishes. We stayed in a room in the Victorian house, and then in one of the 2 casitas. Loved the casita -- roomy and so...

The Madeline has a commitment to hospitality that is seen from the owner, to every staff member you come into contact with. The simple touches like like the cookies, to the breakfasts served every morning, make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. We had the Forsynthia suite, which is generously sized, with a fireplace and large bathroom....

I had the Ivy Room on the top floor, which was basically a little suite under the eaves. The house is old-fashioned and has a lot of retro charm. Access to the rooms is via the staircase (no elevator). My room was very quiet and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I appreciated their efforts to accommodate...
