We cannot say enough good things about Carolyn and her staff at The Madeleine. We felt like we were staying with a friend. The house is adorable. The room and linens were clean and comfy. The location is convenient for walking just about anywhere you'd want to go in Santa Fe, proper. The breakfast was homemade and incredible! This was a special trip for us-our 40th wedding anniversary. We will definitely stay there again!
My wife and I spent a week in Santa Fe in this beautiful Victorian B&B. Carolyn (the owner) and her staff were nothing short of amazing and were partially responsible for making this a truly memorable vacation. We stayed in the Columbine Room, which was very comfortable and beautifully appointed with a king sized bed, fireplace and period furniture. Oh, and don’t even think of going anywhere else for breakfast. You won’t find a better one anywhere in Santa Fe. If you’re lucky, you’ll be there on blue corn waffle day....amazing! As their description indicates, the Madeleine is situated at the end of a dead-end street, which creates a very quiet and cozy atmosphere. It has the feel of being located miles away from the city even though it rests a few blocks away from Santa Fe’s historic Plaza District. Carolyn also owns and operates the Absolute Nirvana Spa (which sits right next door to the Madeleine). My wife couldn’t stop raving about the massage she received there. We’ve only been back home for a few days but we’re already looking forward to our next visit. If your planning a trip to Santa Fe (which I would highly recommend) do yourself a favor and book your stay at the Madeleine. You won’t regret it.…
Had a great mother daughters trip over new years and highlight was our stay at Madeleine Inn. My girls who do not eat typical hotel breakfasts looked forward to breakfast every morning. The owner Carolyn hosts the breakfasts and she and her entire staff are most helpful and friendly. We stayed at a spacious room with king bed and a window twin bed that my younger daughter loved. The room was beautifully appointed. We appreciated the sustainable practices of the Inn. Location is also great. So glad we chose this place to stay,
I spent 2 nights at the Madeline in October 2019. We stayed in the Forsythia room, which was spacious, charming and very quiet. There are many things that show the owner and staff have thought of everything. Small touches... wine glasses abs opener. Make up face cloths. A book of local restaurants menus. The breakfast was delicious... and so was the nightly wine and apps, all included. The owner and all staff went out of their way to offer help, but never hovered. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend to others. Ps. The location was perfect in Santa Fe. So close we walked to everything.
The Madeleine Inn was tucked away on a dead-end street within walking distance of the town plaza. Everyone was friendly and engaging and the breakfast each morning was fabulous! We parked right outside our room and the overall convenience was wonderful. We hope to visit again soon!
