Rancho Nambe is a beautiful property located approximately 20 minutes north of Santa Fe. Access for the highway(s) to Bandelier National Monument and Los Alamos or for the High / Low road(s) to Taos is very close . The ambiance is very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. We reserved the Nambe room and it was wonderful - very nicely decorated and... More

What a splendid place with delightful hosts! Simply beautiful! Despite finding it very difficult to arrive at the location... twice... (I'm sure this had nothing to do with the fact that we were completely unable to pay any attention whatsoever to the directions) the estate, the grounds, and our room were all simple and elegant. Dick and Sarah were fantastic... More

My friends and I had the wonderful experience of spending a night with Dick and Sarah after attending the Santa Fe Opera. We stayed in the Casita and it was clean, comfy and roomy enough for the three of us to not run into one another. The grounds of this 200-year-old hacienda are lush and green. The pool is large... Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Nestled in the lush, peaceful Nambe River Valley, just twenty minutes north of Santa Fe, Rancho Nambe is a rambling 300 year old adobe hacienda beautifully situated on 24 tree-covered acres. The inviting portal overlooks the swimming pool and the ever-changing Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Thick adobe walls and gentle breezes keep each room cool in the summer and in the winter the kiva fireplaces keep the rooms warm and cozy. Just minutes from Santa Fe and our world famous Opera, Rancho Nambe is the perfect place to stay while you enjoy all the varied activities of the area. We are close to the Bandelier National Monument and its ancient Indian cliff dwellings, near to neighboring pueblos and just a short drive to Los Alamos. You will be able to explore the history of the area from arrowheads to atoms. Enjoy the wonderful museums and art in Santa Fe or take the High Road to Taos and then come "home" to relax by the pool in the shade of the Cottonwood trees. ... more   less
