Although we are used to travelling, this is one of the best places we've ever stayed. It was wonderful. The relaxing area, the delicious breakfast, the pool, the dogs and last but not least the sweetest hosts Dick and Sarah. All the privacy you need but if you wanted to chat they were there for you. Only a short drive... More

Beautiful and quiet countryside adobe home with horses. Great place to relax, see Tent Rocks/Bandelier National Monuments, and make day excursions to Sante Fe. Hosts Dick and Sara were a treat to talk to and were invaluable for making sightseeing and restaurant recommendations. Tasty breakfasts and good coffee. Horses were fun to pet and feed and we enjoyed the two... More

This amazing country property is centered on a 200 year old adobe home, expanded and updated but keeping the feel, charm and simplicity of a real country home. The warm and welcoming owners, Sara and Dick not only made our stay on the property perfect but also made suggestions for our excursions that blew away our planned hikes (gotten from... More

My friend Steve has already written a glowing review of Rancho Nambe, but I'll add that I couldn't have been happier with our rooms and the grounds. Our host was more than accommodating, and the pool and grounds are lovely. Rancho Nambe is a true gem, one of my favorite getaways ever.

Jeff and I ended a reunion with friends to Northern New Mexico and we stayed at Rancho Nambe for the last night of our journey. I guess we saved the best for last. What a fantastic place! And wonderful and engaging hospitality as well. If you like 200 year old adobe walls, quiet and peaceful seclusion, room to spread out,... More

What wonderful place to land with dear friends coming from far and wide. The hosts made us SO at home, cooked AMAZING breakfasts, and take exquisite care of this quiet, beautiful place. Walking distance to Nambe Trading Post, and an arroyo for hiking, hummingbirds everywhere, this place is just amazing. Just the place for a perfect vacation. I know we... More

The casita was a perfect home away from home. Dick and Sarah are great hosts, with the perfect blend of available and respectful of privacy. And the gourmet breakfasts truly exceeded our expectations every morning. The location was perfect for several day trips in all different directions from Taos to Santa Fe and beyond. If wifi matters to you, it... More

This B&B is a real find! The 200+ year old gorgeous adobe building is lovingly cared for. Each room has a separate entrance to the portal, and access to lush grounds. It's a good thing the swimming pool and tennis courts were not yet open, otherwise we would not want to leave! The house is off the beaten path, yet... More

Sarah and Dick gave us each our own room with a shared bath. The room was carpeted but comfortable and clean. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Nestled in the lush, peaceful Nambe River Valley, just twenty minutes north of Santa Fe, Rancho Nambe is a rambling 300 year old adobe hacienda beautifully situated on 24 tree-covered acres. The inviting portal overlooks the swimming pool and the ever-changing Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Thick adobe walls and gentle breezes keep each room cool in the summer and in the winter the kiva fireplaces keep the rooms warm and cozy. Just minutes from Santa Fe and our world famous Opera, Rancho Nambe is the perfect place to stay while you enjoy all the varied activities of the area. We are close to the Bandelier National Monument and its ancient Indian cliff dwellings, near to neighboring pueblos and just a short drive to Los Alamos. You will be able to explore the history of the area from arrowheads to atoms. Enjoy the wonderful museums and art in Santa Fe or take the High Road to Taos and then come "home" to relax by the pool in the shade of the Cottonwood trees. ... more   less
