What a hostess, and what a fantastic location! We couldn't have been more pleased. A nice crackling fire on Saturday, wonderful breakfast surprises each day ... this is just the place for a special trip!

From the moment we arrived at Dunshee's we knew we had made a good choice of a place to stay while in Santa Fe. The accommodations and surrounding gardens were beautiful, peaceful and quiet and the breakfast each morning was a real treat. We felt pampered our entire stay and will definitely return. We enjoyed the cozy & comfortable separate casita. The location was perfect to enjoy the many galleries & wonderful restaurants. Susan was a delight & knows Santa Fe. We had a wonderful experience! We look forward to returning to Dunshee's.

We enjoyed everything about Dunshee's. Susan is very hospitable and the superb breakfasts are a real treat. The artsy accommodations are so comfortable and private that you will look forward to returning to the relaxing garden patio each day. Geronimo's and the Compound are less than a five minute walk away on Canyon Road. The Santa Fe national forest with...

Susan D. has thought of everything for a wonderful stay in a wonderful house. The furnishings are comfortable, and the sink and vanity in the one of the bedrooms takes the pressure off the bathroom. With the all appliance kitchen one could prepare meals very easily. The outside table was great for meals and stargazing. What I most appreciated was...

We spent 3 nights at Dunshee's in late August. Great location. Quiet and peaceful. We loved the garden and enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and our talks with Susan who is a wealth of information about Santa Fe, things to do and how to get there. Wish we could have stayed longer. We look forward to returning next year....

The minute we arrived at this secluded, yet optimally located adobe respite, we were greet by B&B owner with graciousness. We stayed in the main house, in a private “wing” - a spacious dining room/livingroom, bedroom/bathroom—all gorgeously decorated-- plus the stunning outdoor room, a gateway to the artistically-inspired garden. Each morning, our hostess, Susan, delivered a gourmet breakfast—we couldn't wait...

Our stay at Dunshee's was delightful. Susan is such a gracious host and the casita is very comfortable and has a welcoming Santa Fe flavor to the decor. Breakfast was yummy and plentiful. The gardens and patio areas add beautiful touches of color, great for morning breakfast or evening glass of wine. The 4 of us enjoyed our stay and...

I did a great deal of research before coming to Santa Fe. Who knew that in such a small town (in my opinion--I lived in Manhattan for 6 years) there would be a gazillion bed and breakfasts?! In any case, Dunshee's is fantastic. It is romantic; it is quaint; and, it is comfortable and lovely in every respect. Susan and...

First of all, Ms. Dunshee is a gracious host. Second, the accommodations are divine, and the breakfast was wonderful. The only mistake we made is not planning to stay an extra day or two in Santa Fe, and booking this spot for longer. It is a pleasant, beautiful, quiet retreat. And we love her dog! Our bedroom, the gardens, and...

“As a guest you can choose between a private casita or have a private bedroom and living space connected to the main house. We loved the room with the fireplace that looked out into the blossoms in the gardens.”

“If the weather is cool light a fire. This is a real wood fire place not a gas generated flame. The owner is worth the trip itself, a highly knowledgeable and talented lady. ”

“What we treasure about Dunshee's Casita is that the intimacy of the space allows ample room to move about (we were a family of five the first stay) or have quiet time to read/write/contemplate. The full bath has beautiful tiles and the artifacts Susan has collected add a warm, personal touch throughout.”
