Dunshee's was a most wonderful experience. The living quarters were a suite with many amenities...it felt like home. It was artfully decorated and captured Santa Fe's spirit. The breakfasts were out of Bon Appetit. Susan, my host was delightful. You may walk anywhere from here. If you want a "Santa Fe" living experience in the Canyon Road area, this is...

Three of us stayed in the Casita at Dunshee's in November 2015. Clean, quiet, comfortable, and plenty of space. Free Wi-Fi has good signal. Susan is a terrific host. Home made granola and cookies. Fresh fruit and yogurt in the fridge. Kitchen is great for breakfasts. Fire in the fireplace at night. It's close to central Santa Fe but it's...

We loved staying with Susan at Dunshee's. The location was perfect, we walked to Canyon Road and drove to the center of Santa Fe for dinners and galleries. Our bedroom was very comfortable - we used the kiva fireplace in the bedroom 2 nights and it was just lovely. There was also a nice large living/dining area with access to...

Staying at Dunshee's was like being in a wonderful home, only better! Because Susan served us tasty breakfasts in the morning! In the late afternoon we made piñon fires in the outdoor patio fireplace off the garden and enjoyed sipping our wine as we discussed our dinner plans. We stocked the refrigerator with cheeses and fruit. After dinner we could...

We enjoyed everything about Dunshee's. Susan is very hospitable and the superb breakfasts are a real treat. The artsy accommodations are so comfortable and private that you will look forward to returning to the relaxing garden patio each day. Geronimo's and the Compound are less than a five minute walk away on Canyon Road. The Santa Fe national forest with...

Susan D. has thought of everything for a wonderful stay in a wonderful house. The furnishings are comfortable, and the sink and vanity in the one of the bedrooms takes the pressure off the bathroom. With the all appliance kitchen one could prepare meals very easily. The outside table was great for meals and stargazing. What I most appreciated was...

We spent 3 nights at Dunshee's in late August. Great location. Quiet and peaceful. We loved the garden and enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and our talks with Susan who is a wealth of information about Santa Fe, things to do and how to get there. Wish we could have stayed longer. We look forward to returning next year....

“What we treasure about Dunshee's Casita is that the intimacy of the space allows ample room to move about (we were a family of five the first stay) or have quiet time to read/write/contemplate. The full bath has beautiful tiles and the artifacts Susan has collected add a warm, personal touch throughout.”
