The Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi has been on my bucket list for a while. Our recent weekend stay was an absolute joy! The attention to personal details, location, decor, and comfort are simply top notch. From the fresh baked cookies and hot cider in the lobby to the luxe bath products and turndown service in the evening, Inn of the Anasazi was a delightful experience. I can't wait to return!

Our family of 12 stayed here for my Mom’s birthday and the staff, the location and the intimacy of the Anasazi will keep us coming back again and again! A call out to some standout people who made our stay extra special: John in the restaurant shared fascinating history of the church in Chimayo and the healing dirt, Ricky helped us secure a last minute. table for our large group at one of the busiest restaurants in town (and showed up to walk us in!), Raymond arranged a beautiful room for us to play late night Jenga with chocolate cake and tequila…. I wish I knew the names of the two women who served us at breakfast every day. It was so busy but they never missed the smallest of details! They made our stay above and beyond! Thank you for taking such great care of our family!! We will be back!

We visited this Rosewood property over the holidays and absolutely loved it. You can't beat the location, food is phenomenal, and the staff are so gracious and accomodating. Raymond, the food & bev manager, made our stay super special and went the extra mile for us. Can't wait to go back again!

Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi Santa Fe Beware of the food! 876739161 Went to dinner. TERRIBLE!!!! The tempura vegetables were tasteless, the brava potatoes not only were tasteless but the sauce was like poor quality cheese, I could not cut the wagyu steak with a steak knife because of the gristle. The meal was over priced - $58 for the meat alone. Was given the sea bass, tasteless. Was given a complementary dessert, tough on the outside, soggy in the middle and tasteless. Was the worst meal I have ever had in Santa Fe (and I live here) and one anywhere...and at outrageous prices. The couple next to us had the same issues with the meat and potatoes - plus both were undercooked.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. I think it’s best asset is the staff. Victor( valet guy) and specially Dedra( lobby) were phenomenal. Had some issues during our stay, they were doing some renovations and stuff happens, but I think they solved in a professional manner. The restaurant was incredible, food was delicious, highly recommend the octopus. Staff at the restaurant was great, Diego was very attentive. I appreciate the restaurant manager Javier, being so considerate as we wanted to have dinner there and we were traveling with our dog. The decor is beautiful and with the recommended tuneup this hotel could be a gem in the beautiful Santa Fe.

Overall, we had a very good stay at the hotel. The location is perfect - right off the main square. Additionally the furnishings and bedding were lovely. The hotel felt very small - crammed for space - I guess that is what you get when you are in an historic setting in that location. But the rooms are small, not a lot of places to sit, and not a lot of extra amenities. For example, one thing the hotel could have done is make the one “living room” more comfortable with drinks and little snacks. But it offered nothing. We did have a tequila tasting with the beverages director - forgive me I forgot his name - which was excellent. Really really informative and fun. Every time we saw him later in the trip he would check in on us and was so kind. That kind of experience definitely made the trip unforgettable and would make us want to come back to this hotel again!

We had a great three night stay at the hotel with our family including two little girls. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Shout outs to Ken, the Night Manager, Diego, waiter in the restaurant, John, the Food & Beverage Manager, and Roosevelt, the Inn's Manager. Everyone made sure we were 100% happy with our stay. The location is perfect--near the town square and close enough to talk all over town including Canyon Road. The Inn's decor is very Southwestern and very relaxing. We loved the little room along side the Library where we were able to gather with our family each day for some great family time. The entire atmosphere was relaxing. The hotel is the perfect depiction of what Santa Fe is all about! This was our third stay at The Inn. We always keep coming back!

We stayed 2 nights and unfortunately this property did not live up to expectations. I will caveat we were here right after Xmas time, making it busy … but the service was horrible. I know they are understaffed but u can’t charge $1000 a night with the level of service they had. It started right at check-in when we waited 20 minutes for someone to help us at our car. When we finally got help and a cart they said they will bring our luggage right up. An hour later still didn’t have it. Finally went down to the lobby and had to get it ourselves. We also had to call to get our room cleaned and didn’t even get turn down service one night. Last the bar scene was a nightmare. They had one bartender making drinks, serving, etc. It took over 30 minutes to get a drink. I know all 1st world problems, but if working with a limited staff the hotel should be discounted not jacked up because it is a holiday. Also when checked out told them service was bad and all we got was a thank you for telling us.

The property itself is great - rooms are really nice and very well done. They're spacious, clean, and are very well kept - they even provide a humidifier as it's so dry in the area. People were also great - very friendly, helpful and extremely nice. And the location is great. It's walkable to everything you want in the area - excellent restaurants, galleries, and shopping (and Mellow Velo, if you're into biking). We also did a private dinner with them, which they did really well. The food was excellent, and the wine parings were really well done - creative and delicious. We would definitely stay here again next time we're in Santa Fe

Last week we stayed at Rosewood's Inn of the Anasazi for the third time and still cannot understand why a fine operator such as Rosewood can keep their name on such an ordinary property. Everything about the rooms has the feel of a $300 Kimpton hotel - nice, but plain and on the cheap side - not like a Rosewood charging over $600 off-season. The staff is nice but the service is terrible. The value is not there.
