Friendly warm attitude of all staff. Personal connection with guests. Great location, walking distance to plaza and gourmet restaurants. Comfortable aura. Impeccable architectural detail. Authentic Santa Fe experience.
Our family of 12 stayed here for my Mom’s birthday and the staff, the location and the intimacy of the Anasazi will keep us coming back again and again! A call out to some standout people who made our stay extra special: John in the restaurant shared fascinating history of the church in Chimayo and the healing dirt, Ricky helped us secure a last minute. table for our large group at one of the busiest restaurants in town (and showed up to walk us in!), Raymond arranged a beautiful room for us to play late night Jenga with chocolate cake and tequila…. I wish I knew the names of the two women who served us at breakfast every day. It was so busy but they never missed the smallest of details! They made our stay above and beyond! Thank you for taking such great care of our family!! We will be back!…
I’ve stayed with rosewood many times in other locations and they were amazing . This one was no bueno. Staff was kind and the beds comfortable . That was it. My very small room looked into an alley of garbage cans. There is no pool, spa or anywhere zen or natural to sit outside and relax. It was my room with the dumpster view or head to other hotels to read and relax. That is what I did. I’m so sad that rosewood would provide so little for such a high cost.
Rosewood has a stellar reputation. And while the location and construction of this Inn are superb, the service and everything else that also matters is nowhere near what one expects for the price. So many examples of inconsistent service, horrible wait-times in the restaurant, the list goes on. Maybe they haven't recovered yet from all the negative impacts of Covid-19? Or maybe they just need a new GM who is paying attention to the details that 5-star hotels require.
Beautiful hotel....the best location....great service....all adds up to an overall wonderful experience! If you want to treat yourself to the best Santa Fe has to offer....Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi is the place!
I live near here and have stayed at lots if hotels in Santa Fe. Inn of Anasazi is by far the nicest hotel in this town. Very clean. It pulls off the Santa Fe style without being funky like many of the others. It’s more expensive of course. Restaurant is quite good also.
We splurged here staying 4 nights after 4 nights in Moab and one night in monument valley. We loved this hotel - the room was so nice - the fireplace and the bed was heavenly. The restaurant was excellent - especially the margaritas - both silver and gold coin. The staff were helpful - they were working non stop and you never saw them rattled - always smiling and always friendly. I appreciated the complimentary coffee in the lobby as the city is quiet (the city of manana) until 930am. Again, the staff were great - the receptionists (and apparently the valets too) took a genuine interest and the housekeeping were 5*. We corresponded with the concierge prior to our arrival - Regina - who was a delight and helpful. The location is perfect. We walked everywhere. A bit of advice - don’t forget you are 7,000+ feet above sea level - if you enjoy the margaritas in town they will impact you quicker. Drink lots of water😀.…
We have been staying at the Inn of the Anasazi for business and pleasure since the mid nineties. This visit was for a week of vacation The central location is wonderful to enjoy Santa Fe by foot. The accommodations have beauty and integrity, and the staff is always available with a smile and a spirit to make you feel welcome and happy to be there.
I thoroughly enjoyed the attention the staff gave throughout our visit whether we had needs or they were just simply walking by asking if we needed anything. Everything was tastefully decorated the rooms were very comfortable and clean. I enjoy a hotel that pampers to the guests and Anasazi definitely did that for us
This is a fabulous boutique hotel in a great location, just off of Santa Fe Plaza. Every detail was perfect; the room (with fireplace) the food, housekeeping and the front desk and restaurant staff were most friendly and helpful. The valet brought car around within minutes when requested. We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book here again when traveling to Santa Fe! Thank you Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi!
