Every person from the maids to the Hotel manager made our stay better than I could have hoped. I'll be honest, I had doubts about a Casino-hotel. This is a beautiful property with a truly service-enabled staff. Cyndi from Mexico City was a wonderful and memorable waitress. Kurt and Vinnie at the bar left us as friends rather than servers....

Fantastic hotel north of Sante Fe. Nice rooms, great food , and amenities. Smart that the Casino is downstairs. Staff is wonderfully friendly....but the Internet WiFi stinks both in the room and at the conference center. Good internet service is required for any business activity. I was forced to work from the concierge desk ( the magical WIFi spot) to...

Stayed 4 nights at this beautiful resort. Surroundings were very pretty and our suite was quite beautiful! Beds were comfortable, linens luxurious and the decor was southwestern and really pretty. Pool area was nice, expecially at night when fire torches lit up the area. The balcony to our room overlooked beautiful mountains and the sunrises are amazing. Also one day...

We really enjoyed our stay at Buffalo Thunder. The room was super clean; had a fireplace; and was away from the noisy casino. (Which was fun, too!). The staff was outstanding, and the art throughout the hotel is museum-quality. Easy access to Santa Fe, Los Alamos, Bandelier National Park and many other lovely places. Food wasn't tip-top, but certainly good...

The resort is large and very nice. It offers several options for dining. All sorts of stores for shopping. The rooms are spacious and very clean. It has amenities such as a spa, gym, indoor & outdoor pools. Pet friendly. A bit on the pricey side. And a private luncheon, such as the one for our family reunion, was extremely...

beautiful hotel. We arrived early and although could not check In we could use the pool area which was lovely and quiet and gave us a well deserved chill out in the sun after our long trip along Route 66 . We had to pay for wifi which I think is a no no in this day and age ....

The Buffalo Thunder was the site for a conference and a trade show I had to work. Although the hotel is also a casino, all the conference rooms and exhibits were on the second floor away from the noise and hustle of the casino. This made working the trade show much easier and helped keep the attendees focused on what...

I must start by saying that the hotel is beautiful. Take a look at it's website. Lovely architecture accented with exquisite Southwest Indian art. We appreciated not having to go through the casino to get to our rooms, which were clean and comfortable. The staff was courteous. That said, the amenities were so-so. The gift shop had no camera batteries...

Wife and I enjoyed our 30th anniversary here. Wonderful setting north of Santa Fe. Room had great view of pool and golf course. Room was spacious and very nicely appointed. Watched a little bit of football on beautiful hi def tv. Odd to see this kind of quality furniture and decorations at hotel.

Stayed here for two nights and I didn't do enough homework about its location. Colorful lobby with a good Southwestern feel and artwork. Rooms a little dark but being located in a hotel with a casino was fun. Biggest downside for us was that it is a 15 minute drive to the Plaza, restaurants, and all of the reasons to...
