FANTASTIC PLACE. Friends travelled from Colorado, who visit Santa Fe regularly, described it on their first time at this hotel as the best place to stay in Santa Fe! We enjoyed our three day stay, and ate well in the restaurant, and enjoyed the friendly staff! So, we agree with our friend’s comments!
Everything was great - the room was spotless, the linens/towels were very nice, it was quiet, a decent size, with a small patio. We booked last minute and could only get the smallest room - it was a sufficient size but next time we'd probably opt for the next larger size. Free parking on site. Free wifi (not so at the Albuquerque Airport Sheraton we stayed at the first night!). The breakfast buffet was delicious - different hot items were offered each day. We intended to have happy hour in the lounge at some point but ran out of time. There's a charming outdoor terrace to eat on but because it was pretty chilly when we were there in October we didn't get to use it. The front-desk staff was helpful with questions we had about the area. The location was perfect - a 5 or 10 minute walk to the Plaza, and right next to Canyon Rd. Because of covid there was not routine housekeeping daily (after 4 nights you could have the whole room done). But for new towels or to have trash removed, etc. you just had to ask at the front desk and they set it up. Worked perfectly. We loved Santa Fe and the surrounding area as well as the Inn on the Alameda. We'd definitely stay again!…
We splurged on a room with a private entrance and patio and it was worth it! We were able to sit on the patio or in the courtyard right outside the room every morning and evening. It made for a relaxing getaway. The Inn is a short walk to the historic plaza area and one block from Canyon Rd art galleries. So many great restaurants within an easy walk. And Joe's right at the Inn was where we had the best margaritas of the entire trip. We enjoyed drinks at Joe’s each night of our trip; either before or after a dinner out. The staff was pleasant and helpful at all times. The included breakfast was a great bonus. House made pastries and a variety of hot options were a nice surprise. We will return to Inn On The Alameda next time we’re in Santa Fe.
This hotel is a pure joy. It has a great location on the banks of the Santa Fe River, a short walk from downtown Santa Fe, museums, fine restaurants, and the Canyon Road art galleries. The hotel serves an excellent full breakfast featuring some local dishes. Special thanks to Abe, Amy, Taniqua, and Roberto for making sure that my wife and I were comfortable and welcome.
First trip to Santa Fe, and the hotel couldn't be better. The hotel has a strong Southwestern feel to it. Hotel staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful. Location is perfect if you want to be around the historic plaza. Their breakfast is excellent.
Great location and friendly staff made the experience a great vacation. The breakfast was delicious with friendly staff. Hotel was within walking distance to the plaza. The hotel had wonderful character and it seemed guests came back because several of the staff greeted different guests.
The Inn on the Alameda was a great place to stay. It was walkable to everything in downtown. Room and bathroom were very clean and housekeeping came daily. The complimentary breakfast each morning was delicious and included eggs, sausage, fresh fruit, freshly baked muffins and more! We loved eating on the beautiful patio. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The experience couldn’t have been better!!
Great atmosphere, walking distance to everything. Staff was extremely friendly. Clean rooms. Free breakfast was very tasty. Played cards one evening in the courtyard which was really nice to be able to do. Would highly recommend.
superb. From the very beginning (check in) throughout the duration of our stay, we found the Inn the perfect place for our short adventure in Santa Fe. Being able to access Canyon Road so easily as well as being able to walk to the plaza within minutes served to underscore the fabulous location of the Inn. We will return - and hopefully, next time, we will be able to linger longer.
We loved our stay here. Corey and his staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Thank you to Penpa, Reyes, Tabitha, Ludwig, Marcus and everyone else whose names I can't remember right now. The property is beautiful with gardens everywhere. Located less than 1/2 mile from the Plaza, the Railyard, and the capitol, and right across the street from Canyon Road. Would definitely recommend to others.
