My wife and I go to Santa Fe each year just to get away. We have been staying at the Inn on the Alameda for about 15 years. We still enjoy our stay, but it isn't what it use to be. The property is still in good condition, but it has declined. We miss the old way of doing

Thank you for your review and your loyal patronage over the last 15 years. I am sorry to hear you were disappointed with the breakfast and wine and cheese hour. Since we always have fresh cut fruit in a bowl for breakfast I am sorry somehow you missed this, the fruit is fresh cut daily, in past years the fruit was on a platter rather than a bowl but was also fresh cut. I will discuss the issue of empty or nearly chafing dishes during breakfast as this is not our policy. It seems the breakfast and complimentary wine and cheese are your concerns, I will keep an eye on our offerings to make sure they are of the quality you have enjoyed in the past. We look forward to hosting you on your next visit to Santa Fe and will strive to continue to earn your loyal patronage.

Close to Canyon Road restaurants and galleries. Ten-15 minute walk to Loretto Chapel and Plaza. Rooms are in three different buildings along with rooms in other structures. Our room was very large, clean, and well furnished. We had a gas fireplace which was wonderful with

I've stayed at Inn on the Alameda many times and will return. It is a great value, nice hotel, great location (walkable to both Canyon Road and the Plaza) and includes many amenities such as breakfast, wine and cheese hour and a car to take you to restaurants.

My wife and I stayed in a suite at The Inn on the Alameda for five nights from 1/23 to 1/28/2019. The hotel staff, our suite, the hotel’s location and the daily breakfasts were sensational. We are retired and travel frequently, both in the U.S and internationally. The Inn on

I am sorry to hear you were disappointed with the room type you selected, which is our best value room. The room does face Alameda street but has a 6 foot wall surrounding a very nice size patio which serves as a buffer, however we are an urban hotel and there is some light traffic on the Alameda after 7pm. The bathroom has a heat lamp, you did not find this adequate so we offered a portable heater. We did offer to move you to another room in our building with standard rooms which would have been a small upgrade, however you wanted to stay in a larger casita and were not willing to pay a nominal upgrade fee. We offered you options and am sorry you were not satisfied with any offered.

Any room recommendations ?
We have stayed in a second floor room with balcony and a ground floor with an enclosed patio. Noise was not an issue with either, but I liked the ground floor with enclosed patio best.

I am sitting here with my mini Schnazer gluded to my side as thunder storms move thru Dallas. (He's a wimp!) I was thinking what a lucky boy you have that his parents love him so much and want to travel with him (or her). I bet he's a beauty! I know there are patios on the 1st floor so I believe they can accomodate your request. Have a lovely time. I'm jealous and want to go back!

We had my "almost" 5 year old granddaughter and she loved it. There are outside sitting areas where birds and rabbits showed up frequently. She is an only child and accustomed to adult company so don't know if that influenced her enjoyment but she did great there. It is close enough to the plaza to walk - takes about 10
