If you must pick one place to stay on your Santa Fe getaway, you must make it the Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado. We recently stayed 5 days and were truly able to enjoy almost every aspect of the resort. The guest rooms are exquisite and the surroundings peaceful and relaxing. Hungry or thirsty...the restaurant had a great selection of local fare and everything I ordered was better than the last. The bar/lounge was quaint and had a great selection of adult beverages. We even had to use the meeting rooms due to this being a conference, and those were impeccable. We were thoroughly satisfied with the facilities for our meetings. I think the Four Seasons definitely continued to live up to it's reputation at the Rancho Encantado Santa Fe. We will be back, without a doubt.

Hotel's Favorite
Booking a few nights at the Four Seasons Santa Fe was the single best thing I've done for myself during quarantine. You barely need to leave the resort to have one of the most relaxing, nurturing, peaceful, and uplifting experiences I can imagine. I spent three nights at the hotel, and during my time there slept better than I have in a year, got an incredible fresh perspective (and some air) on a hike with a knowledgeable leader, did a great yoga class, had a massage with a sage ritual add on that possibly changed my life, had a fire butler come and build a fire in my room any time I wanted, ate the hotel's excellent food, and was generally blown away by how caring, attentive and personal everyone at the hotel was. I am already looking forward to my next trip, and can't thank everyone at the Four Seasons enough for such a wonderful experience.

We came for special milestones in life. The four seasons is a beautiful property and we enjoyed it very much. It’s not in the heart of Santa Fe (about a 20 min drive) but this allows it to sit on acres of property and make you feel like you’ve really escaped. We did some beautiful hikes and saw majestic scenery. The food and drinks at the restaurant is excellent. We had cocktails on the patio (great margaritas) and every breakfast was perfection. (Thank you Kevin). The manager Tania made sure we felt special and took care of some details for us, thank you Tania. Our room was #18 which we felt was the perfect location to walk to the spa and restaurant. We slept with the window cracked open every night to allow cool air to come in as the fire crackled from our fireplace that the fire butler would light for us. If you want a true escape stay here and don’t forget to have Tania help you plan a remarkable trip.

We came for Spring Break with our almost 4 year old who has special needs. From the reservation process, to departure, we were treated with hospitality and support. Right before arriving, we were offered an upgrade to the Sunrise (maybe Sunset) Suite, for half the price difference, and double the square footage. We took it! The suite was wonderful! We used the living room (with a door that separates that area from the bedroom) to set up our Daughter’s bed. We brought a frame, her pillows and her stuffed animals, and they supplied a twin/single mattress. Because of the Little, we skipped dining out, and mostly relied on In Room Dining (room service), which was wonderful! The food is from the resort restaurant Terra, and was all fresh, delicious and not salted like most hotel restaurants (we didn’t bloat, and ate 2-3 meals a day from there.) In the evening, we would order right before we put the little to bed, and ask that they text when en route so we could meet them out front without waking the kiddo. Because of the very large patio with fireplace, we spent our evenings warmed by the fire, dining like we were at a high end restaurant. Highlights on the menu: Octopus (omg!!!), the Bison Stew (my Husband’s favorite), the Chile Relleno (his other favorite), the Ahi Lettuce Wraps (so fresh!), Chips with Salsa, Guacamole and Queso (not on menu, but a must), Salmon Lox plate (out of this world!), side of Bacon (of course), the Bakery Basket (what I would do to have these pastries again… they have an in house pastry chef). The service was great! You can text the front desk any time, and they are so quick to respond. Sadly, our daughter got sick half way through the trip, and vomited in bed at 6am. They were quick to pick up the bedding, her animals and pajamas, and washed everything for us. They checked in with us via text, and offered to make her whatever food she needed. We felt completely supported. Notable people who were extra thoughtful, friendly, and got to know us… Tania the Manager was so friendly, accommodating and never made us feel like a burden. She even invited us for a complimentary dinner on our last night (7th night). Gabriel in In-room Dining was always friendly, remembered our preferences, and made us feel at home. All of the in room dining staff was so so friendly! The Spa was wonderful. If you reserve a “Courtyard”, you will have private access to a spacious outdoor courtyard, with a Sauna and a choice of Dry Sauna or Steam room. There is a sunbathing chair, iced cucumber water, and an umbrella. The “warming room” is this cozy circular room surrounded by windows, with a fireplace and comfy chairs, which you have access to before and after your treatment. My Husband and I both had treatments (massages, hot stone and facial), and they were all lovely. The pool is pretty straight forward, with a hot tub, and nice lounge chairs. The pool was kept warm enough to go in when it was high 50’s out. You can order in room dining at the pool. We visited in March, so the Pool Shack wasn’t open. I assume there may be more services in the Summer. All in all, we would love to come back, and feel privileged to have been cared for by the Four Seasons Team.

This was our first trip after the COVID outbreak (July 2020, getting caught up on reviews since the pandemic) and the hotel was incredible at putting health and safety first without compromising the high-touch Four Seasons service experience. The sunset views here are incredible, and you can smell piñon pine, sage and lavender all around the resort. The dining and cocktail program was great. Resort has a nice hiking trail through the foothills.

The resort property is beautiful. We had a short stay (2 days) in late February and it was lovely. The resort had a quiet "low season" vibe which meant we had some quasi-private meals in the restaurant and did not feel nervous about exposure to throngs of other guests. The pool was heated warm enough for the kids to have a swim (it's typically kept covered in the winter but they will uncover upon request) and the private jacuzzis at the spa were a treat.

One of the my favorite hotel properties. The architecture fits beautifully into the landscape. The casitas are elegant yet unpretentious, roomy but also cozy. Extraordinary attention to detail is evident throughout the property, particularly in the selection of art on display in public areas. The restaurant, in my admittedly limited experience, is one of the best in Santa Fe. The staff is extremely attentive and helpful. One point I’ll never forget: When I went to my car on the morning after a moderate snowfall, I discovered someone on the staff walking in the bitterly cold weather the previous night had raised my wiper blades to prevent them from freezing onto the windshield. Little things like that leave a very favorable impression. The last time I stayed here, I jokingly challenged myself to find anything to complain about. Here’s all I could come up with: I do wish they’d put coffee makers into the casitas instead of espresso machines. (I’m pretty certain more people drink coffee and tea than espresso.) Oh, and the marshmallows at the nightly s’mores happy hour were a little stale. Yes, that’s all I could find wrong with this great hotel property. If I were filthy rich, I might live here. It’s that nice.

This resort is amazing, my wife and the girls spent a fun time here and they were not disappointed. The resort took care of all their needs, and the spa was amazing for them. They spent all day in the spa and absolutely loved it. The driver for the hotel gave them a great tour of downtown and dropped them off at the best restaurant. The concierge was spot on for them as well.
