My Daughter who is employed by Four Season treated me to an experience for my birthday that will be memorable for a life time. We’ were treated with respect from the whole staff and the dinner was spectacular. Hats off to the Chef. What a wonderful experience. Make it a point to visit if your in Santa Fe. This is the ultimate luxury resort in Santa Fe. The resort’s design and layout is perfect for those seeking a quiet family get away. The location captures the beauty of Santa Fe in a premier setting. There is a private hiking trail around the property which is easily accessible and perfect for families. There is a convenient shuttle service to downtown Santa Fe which helps bypass the parking difficulties of downtown. We were helped by the staff Elias, Elijah, and Joseph. They are extremely helpful, friendly, and thoughtful. Their level of attentiveness was above even other what I have experienced at other four seasons properties. The food and beverage services at the resort were phenomenal. We were not expecting to have such tantalizing food. Each meal was exceptional. We had an incredibly enjoyable cocktail making class with Alexis who walked us through the extraordinary cocktail menu. Our meals with Faith and Adriano were so memorable, especially how they helped seamlessly celebrate my mother’s birthday. Gjulisa runs a phenomenal service. We can’t wait to come back!

Woof woof! Tommy and my new baby brother Elmo here, and we can't wait to tell you about our amazing stay at Four Seasons Rancho Encantado! We had an absolute blast at this luxurious resort, and we're happy to report that our stay was a truly pawsome one. Right from the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like the Dachshund royalty we are; they greeted us with open arms and gave us some of the tastiest treats we've ever had! And to make our stay even more special, they brought us a special nighttime delivery of paw-some homemade snacks, complete with baking instructions so we could enjoy them at home! Special thanks to Katie and the rest of the staff at Terra for spoiling us! The resort itself is surrounded by breathtaking scenery, with stunning trails and endless space for us to run around and explore. But our favorite part of the stay was definitely watching the sunsets each evening from Terra Bar - the colors in the sky were so vibrant and beautiful, and the scents in the air made our tails wag with joy! Our pawrents enjoyed delicious meals at Terra and we loved lounging nearby and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Our casita and the resort's amenities were all top-notch, and we had a truly unforgettable experience. Overall, we highly recommend Four Seasons Rancho Encantado to anyone looking for a luxurious and pet-friendly getaway. It's the perfect place for a pawsitively amazing vacation!

A winter escape to Santa Fe? Must be warmer than New York, right? Well no, it wasn’t but the reception at the Four Seasons quickly made up for that. Admittedly, our second time at this delightful property and wow, what a place. From the first moment to the last, we thoroughly enjoyed our off-season combo business conference/get-a-way. Outside the city proper, but with shuttle service on the hour, the Fours Seasons makes a great place to base one’s trip. Each room is a small home (a casita) featuring both indoor and outdoor fireplace and- oh me oh my- heated floors in the gigantic bathroom area. Le Labo amenities made that piece of the experience a delight, and the complementary fire butlers showing up to blowtorch your evening into a relaxed lounge space in your own room are a thrill all their own. Getting around the property is easy with complementary shuttles either on call or happenstance. Conference facilities are a delight- small but perfect for a tight group. The restaurant serves (unsurprisingly) new-south-west cuisine, and nicely done. Drinks at the small bar are basic, but don’t try your bartenders with anything more than the classics or perhaps even anything outside a margarita else you’ll be a little time waiting and likely disappointed at the result. But the spa… and the gym… pure bliss. Services are pricey but effective and the private spaces upon demand make the whole thing a complete experience. Do make the effort to stay here. The mountains, the early morning sunrise and the late afternoon sunset make the entire space magical.

When we drove up to the lobby/valet, we sat the for awhile and no one came outside to help us. We drove around again to make sure we were in the right spot. Once inside the lobby we were greeted by the smell of a sewer. I guess there was a leak. We paid for and booked a Mountain View room. It had just snowed a lot and the person checking us in just gave us a map and told us where to park and where to walk up to our room. No one offered to help with our bags or show us to our room. When we get to our room the stairs were extremely icy, which made it particularly difficult to bring up our large suitcase. Which again no one offered to help with, that would be okay if we weren’t staying at the Four Seasons and paying a hefty price. Once inside we see that our lovely Mountain View is of the parking lot. This was a splurge for my husband and I for our anniversary, and to get a parking lot view seemed really unfortunate. My husband called down to talk to the concierge who told us that we could see two other rooms and that one was more expensive. A very nice man came to take us to see the other rooms in a golf cart… it was 20 degrees outside and snow covered everywhere. The golf cart almost couldn’t make it up the hill, so we were stuck sitting there while he tried to get it up the hill, twice. Mind you there are two land cruisers for Four Seasons sitting in front of the lobby. We get to the first room which again the stairs and walk ways are covered in ice and snow. I am wearing socks and sandals because we just got off a plane. The room is fine and I honestly didn’t care at this point, since the first 30 minutes after getting there is a such a disappointment. But we go see the second room. The very nice man takes up across a path that is deep with snow, like you can’t see a walkway. My feet are so wet and frozen that I literally don’t care where we stay I just want to be inside. We get to the upgrade room and choose to stay there since it’s actually a Mountain View and I literally can’t move my toes and don’t want to leave. Just don’t stay here, you will be disappointed.

January is a quiet time to stay here. We got a Sunset Suite at a slightly reduced rate. Room was clean and comfortable. The resort is not as spread out as I expected, and while our view was nice, we still overlooked most of the resort rather than mountains. However, based on where the other rooms were situated, I still think we had one of the nicer views. The location is remote and quiet but very convenient to Santa Fe - easy to drive there for dinner, etc. About 45 minutes to the ski area. Only 1 hiking trail accessible from the property, which was a bit of a disappointment, but I knew that before booking. Others are within driving distance.

My husband and I have stayed now three times since September of 2022 and each experience is more beautiful then the last. We recently stayed for NYE and what a divine time it was. The reservations manager, Natalie called me prior to our stay just to thank us for coming back and kindly upgraded our room and we are truly thankful for her constant kindness and appreciation each time we stay. I am a plant based eater and chef was such a hero for me the entire weekend of our stay because he accommodated my dietary needs for all of our meals and even more special, for our fabulous NYE 4 course dinner. He personally created a few food items for my dietary needs and as always they were full of flavor. One of my favorite plant based meals there is the chili relleno. My husband is in love with the wagyu served there and chef never fails to impress my husband with the prime meats and overall flavor. Overall the food in all of our experiences eating here has always been a beautiful experience. I would also like to take a moment to applaud the Terra staff with whom we have grown quite fond of over the months. Faith, one of the managers at Terra is always so kind, so attentive, but mostly, so happy and pleasant. I truly believe she loves her job. All of the staff have shined on all of our experiences. Although we have had great experiences with most of the Terra staff, we favor Adrianno as he is impeccable, kind, diligent, pleasant, friendly and also appears to love his job. He has been our waiter for most of our dining experiences during dinner and we are always thankful for that. He even stopped by our table on NYE to say hello to us as he was not able to wait on us that evening. During our NYE dinner, our regular waiter was not able to wait on us so we were gifted Larry and I am so thankful to have met him. He is another shining star. He was so attentive, diligent, and also had a fantastic sense of humor which we adored. We could not have asked for a more spectacular evening. We spent more time in the bar the weekend of NYE then we usually do, and there was one man with whom I wish I could remember his name, but he was our everything during our weekend there. He educated me on the many questions I asked about whiskey, and he made several recommendations and frankly, we had a splendid time because of him and the staff members at the bar. The drinks were phenomenal. Everyone was kind, attentive, personable, and mostly timely and diligent. The staff all around are always quite attentive, they say hello, and greet us as though we are family/friends. It's truly a lovely team all around in all of our experiences. While we did not receive any spa services, we did reserve their jacuzzi/steam room courtyard at the spa and it was so delightful. My shining star at the spa is Mercedes, as she is so lovely, kind and attentive. She brought us champagne, and was overall a pleasure to be around. My husband and I have a full spa day scheduled soon and Tina, the director of the spa has gone out of her way to help us plan the most fabulous day for quite some time now, and we are both looking forward to our spa day there immensely. The different tiered casitas we have stayed in are all quite the same and have a Kiva fireplace which to be honest, is my favorite aspect of the room aside from the bath tub and heated bathroom floors. We hope to indulge in the future and stay in one of their suites but for now our experiences in our casitas during our stays have been lovely. The casita is crisp and clean, the heat is welcoming upon entering our room during the winter. The last few stays, the staff have welcomed us with champagne in our room and fun edible treats. The grounds are quiet, private, and full of beauty. Overall, the last few stays have been more and more beautiful and the staff continues to shine and accommodate in such special ways. I am a very particular type of person, who can often be hard to please and anticipate greatness when staying at a Four Seasons, and the staff continue to show me how divine they are, and how lovely the Four Seasons in Sante Fe truly is. Thank you everyone. We look forward to seeing you all again soon. The Bohlen's

Beautiful location but the worst food ever. Not worth your money or your health to consume any foods. The problem with the kitchen is that the quality of the foods is bellow what you would eat at home and in most restaurants. Food comes from one provider that supplies all the 4 seasons in the west area with very little choice, no freshness, plenty of frozen and packaged foods and ingredients that are not organic or heirloom. Many items are frozen like breakfast potatoes and pastries or canned like corn and beans (so simple to make). Many foods are pre-made items such as dressings, mayo, breads, cookies etc. So many things could be made from scratch instead. Food gets prepared in large quantities and not served as they have very few costumers, but they still want to sell or repurpuse old food. The staff gets fed leftovers or even cheaper food than the patrons. Mashed potatoes, lentils, polenta, etc gets prepared in big batches and then stored in sealed plastic bags for later use, weeks or months ahead. The kitchen staff are disrrespected, under paid and over worked. They get sent home when they nights are slow, wich is often without any regards to their lives and needs. Tierra restaurant gets 1-5 reservations per night as the food is terrible and can poison you. Not surprised that currently there is no Executive chef at Rancho Encantado. If you stay here, eat somewhere in Santa Fe instead. Clafoutis, Horno, Izanami, Paper Dosa, La Choza, Sweet Water, and Pizza Centro, are all great options you will enjoy and survive. Also avoid Tesuque Market as it is very dirty and unsanitary. Enjoy your stay in our beautiful city and eat well, somewhere else!!!!! Consider the The 4 seasons is owned by Bill Gates and a Saudi Arabian prince. Gates is pro GMO foods, so don't expect to see an all organic menu in 4 seasons ever. Gates is the enemy of farming in the US, please don't support Bill Gates, go local instead and go home with great memories.

The hotel was below our expectations for a Four Season property. Well below. We arrived to find out that there was no food service after 10:30 PM, including room service. The following morning we ordered breakfast, but the entire order was wrong. To the managers credit he comped the breakfast. That night again we ordered food, after we ate went to bed, the next morning ants were all over the plates in our room. In our room, not outside. The entire hotel service was slow, poorly trained for Four Seasons standards. There were a ton of little things that just added up and up, like several times we went in and out there was no door opening, the staff was on the phone. We had to ask for more firewood twice, there was not enough for even one fire upon arrival. The restaurant is bar food, which is also the room service menu, there are no other food options on the property. The bright spot was the manager Roberto, who gave us a credit upon leaving and listened to our experience. We will certainly not return and like all our experiences we will share it with friends and family. The Four Seasons can do better at this property.
