The hotel facilities are nice and very well maintained. The service was outstandingly friendly and attentive. Yes, it was expensive, but the facilities and the people lived up and exceeded expectations. I highly recommend it.

A few days before we arrived we learned that the dining room was closed on Wed/Thursday.  We arrived Tuesday afternoon so had to find other options for breakfast during our stay which one does not expect when staying in a hotel with dining room. To add insult to injury, a group that was staying at the hotel was served breakfast but the other guests were not.  If you are going to open the kitchen for a group why not open for everyone.  This was the height of poor customer service. Our room #34 was an odd room.  From the bathroom you were able to look into the room via the opening in the wall next to the tub.  Did not like the lack of privacy this created.  If one person was sleeping and the other wanted to use the bathroom sink, the lights and noise went right into the bedroom.  The room did have a great view but no balcony to sit out and enjoy it

Personable and friendly service by all staff. Excellent attention to every detail--including all Covid sanitation considerations. Lovely décor and amenities. Went out of their way to make our mini (substitute) honeymoon absolutely perfect. Wonderful two night stay!

My wife and I came here for our anniversary and had an amazing stay. The fresh local coffee you make yourself in a carafe was a nice touch. We got one of very few rooms that have a sitting balcony overlooking the harbor (rooms 32 and 33), and sitting out there in the mornings was incredibly relaxing and beautiful. We also ate at the restaurant for both a romantic dinner and a boozy brunch. Both meals were amazing and the service was top notch. We will definitely be coming back, and hopefully in the same room!

Michael and his wife run an amazing restaurant, starting with the wine list. It is one with the best selection I have seen in a long time, spanning WA, Napa/Sonoma, Italy, France, etc...Next, the atmosphere is spectacular, with fireside chairs looking down into the harbor, and the friendliness is unmatched. And the food...I am hung up on the hangar steak. The entire menu is worth trying, but I recommend the Calzone as an appetizer. The room was comfortable, clean and well appointed. I highly recommend!!
