Every room in our hip hacienda-style hotel has a private balcony overlooking the River Walk or downtown San Antonio skyline. We are walking distance to restaurants, bars and shops, with 25 meeting rooms and event spaces including The Pavilion by Hilton. In addition we have 4 on-site outlets for food and beverage: Rincon Alegre Lobby Bar, Tex’s Sports Bar (the only sports bar on the San Antonio River Walk), River’s Edge Cafe + Patio Bar and our famous Durty Nelly's Irish Pub. Our historic hotel was built using modular construction in a record 202 days, opening April 6, 2018, in time for Hemisfair '68 Worlds Fair. This hotel is certainly above average and reasonably priced. The kids thought they were living large! I asked the lady at the front desk if I could check in a little early and get the highest floor possible, she obliged and put us in the 20th floor. Beautiful views of the city, specifically the Tower Of the Americas. The hotel is on the river walk and just a short walk to the mall. COVID restrictions seemed to affect a few things, but not holding that against the property. Our stay was quiet and peaceful, I recommend Valet and just walk or take a scooter that you can rent all around the area. Will stay here again in the future.

Hotel's Favorite
Stayed here for the omg holiday weekend and have to say it might have the best location of all on the river walk! Convenient to food and shopping and the river cruise. Hotel was very clean and the elevator system was awesome. We got there early Friday and left later Monday and we were able to have early and late Checkout, really appreciate that. This is also across the street from the tower of the americas. Would definitely recommend!

Overall the Hotel is very nice & they did a great job implementing Covid safety measures! However...it was impossible to get any sleep due to the all night “drag racing” that goes on outside! Then around 1am our toilet broke & we choose to shut it off & deal with it in the morning....But then we decided to just check out before 7am. It was a long sleepless night with a broken toilet and when we mentioned this to the gentlemen while checking out he showed little interest and thank us for staying and said our receipt will be emailed to us. Thats it! Not even questioning the broken toilet issue. We never ever complain but this was suppose to be a special night for us but that lack of concern about our stay just ruined any good moments we did experience there! Also to be noted...the constant train/train horn noise that is continuous throughout the night.

Dear littletravelers - Thank you for staying with us recently and we appreciate you taking the time to recognize our implementation of Hilton's CleanStay program. I also would like to apologize for the disconnected check-out experience and will share your comments with the team. With more engagement, we should have been able to determine how to capitalize on the good moments you did experience. Thank you again for your feedback and hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

This hotel is what you would expect from a Hilton. It's a nice hotel and we enjoyed the bit of local Texas decor. The location is convenient to everything in the Riverwalk area. However, I would probably not pay extra for a Riverwalk view if I stayed at this hotel again. We were on the 9th floor, which is one of the lower floors that has guest rooms. While sitting on the balcony, you were still far too high above the Riverwalk to actually see the river. You had to stand up and look directly down in order to see the river. The riverboat tours do load right in front of the hotel so it was fun to watch the boats while standing on the balcony.

Dear Ashley T - Thank you for staying with us this past weekend! We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and it's great to hear you enjoyed our convenient, central River walk location. We appreciate your feedback regarding the view from the 9th floor, as we consider floors 5-10 the best vantage points to see the activity. We will share your comments with the team. Again, thank you for staying with us and look forward to welcoming you back the next time you visit.

The hotel is clean and very covid safe. Its located close to everything and right on the Riverwalk. They charge 35.00 for parking and wifi costs money which is hardly customer service. Staff knew very little about dining. San Antonio is like a ghosttown. Sadly nowhere to eat or drink. Riverwalk has no open restaurants. Only the tour boats were working. Alamo is open!

Dear Martin B - Thank you for staying with us recently and taking the time to write a review. We appreciate you mentioning the cleanliness as our team is constantly using Hilton's CleanStay protocols. We are continually tweaking the hours of operations for our own restaurants and am pleased to say (since your visit), Durty Nelly's Irish Pub is now open THU (4-10), FRi (5-Midnight), SAT (12-Midnight) and SUN (Noon-10). Pub Grub is also being served! Additionally, River's Edge Cafe is open Saturday & Sunday for breakfast. We appreciate your feedback regarding parking and WiFi. WiFi is available for Honors members and it's free to sign up! I apologize we did not take the opportunity to introduce you to our Loyalty Program! Thank you again and we look forward to welcoming you back soon.
