Marriott quality, great everything, great location. may not be cheap, but is worth it. we were able to walk to everything from the Alamo to fantastic eateries with no problem. expect to pay up for parking, but its the riverwalk.
My family and I went there this past weekend and had a blast. The whole staff there was great, especially the front desk staff Jennifer, Michael and the wonderful young lady who sent up a bottle of champagne for us. The new renovations are beautiful! Highly recommend staying here while visiting San Antonio!
To hard to decide where to begin? Our entire experience was amazing from the start. The hotel was very clean from the parking lot and lobby, to the hallway and rooms. They had many measures in place to ensure safety protocols were adhered to and that the stay was a safe one. The staff really made our visit worth while. Nichelle in particular was an absolute blessing to us. She was courteous, informative, and extremely professional. Not only was she very accommodating, she was extremely knowledgeable about the city and helped us navigate River Walk. I didn’t happen to catch the name of the head guard securing the premises, but he was courteous and very down to earth as well. We felt right at home immediately. We highly recommend a stay. The rates are reasonable and it’s in the proximity of great food and key spots on the Riverwalk. Five Stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️…
Maybe was the wrong time .... between Christmas and New Year’s. They are doing renovation ... that’s was good to know... after the renovation will be a perfect place to stay ! We took some friends from Brazil pay a top price for looking like old rooms...
I booked with the call center to stay this coming weekend (September 4th), and then rang the hotel to double Check the rates as I was finding better deals online. When the lady from the front desk told me that the Riverwalk hotel was busy taking only the Laura hurricane evacuees I was disappointed that the reservation team doesn’t know this. She said all the Riverwalk reservations were automatically transferred to the Rivercenter property as it was the same Marriott and that she couldn’t help me with the rates. How come the reservations team doesn’t know this? I had to ring again and book again and cancel the previous reservation. But she was not willing to help. Very kind that this hotel is helping out the victims of Laura but they should inform the customers, IMHO
