We love to stay at B&B as this one was perfect for our daughter &husband son & fiancé ( he proposed here) my husband & I ♥️ Due to the COVID they had to make changes but we were so generously taken care of from Lily the owner!!! We had everything we needed. It was comfortable and clean! Definitely be a place I’d stay again 🥰 we enjoyed the porches too! walking distance to some of the places we went to!

We LOVED our stay at the Brackenridge House of San Antonio. There were three couples in our family trip so we pretty much took over the whole house. Lily accommodated our stay by having snacks, cake, breakfast, coffee, water, soda and all kinds of goodies readily available to our family. The house was clean and decorated beautifully. I could tell that Lily worked hard to maintain COVID-19 precautions and we felt safe. We can’t wait to plan our next visit!

Absolutely incredible spot. Gorgeous room and the ultimate in customer service. Grateful to have found it. Lily gave some of the best in service. The location is mere blocks from everything but on a quiet tree lined beautiful street.

We needed to get out of town a few days, and the Brackenridge House was available for 2 nights - perfect. Located in a quiet and historic neighborhood, you are within walking distance to downtown SA, and a beautiful walk it is along a quite piece of the river walk. Our room was in the from of the house on the first floor and we basically had the whole front of the house to ourselves. Nice porch out front to sit on. Parking in the back was secure and fine. The Wren Room was pretty large with a separate kitchen area and small bathroom. The place was spotless and nicely decorated with Victorian style “stuff.” Due to Covid, they did not serve breakfast, but Lily had plenty of fresh fruits and snacks for us. We would definitely return and hopefully sample the breakfast. Thank you, Lily.

This is a lovely historic home and neighbourhood. The room was well appointed and the breakfast spectacular. The only issue is the noise that comes from a neighbouring business until midnight. I don’t understand why the city of San Antonio would allow a business like the Friendly Spot to disrupt the peace and quiet of a lovely old neighbourhood, especially until midnight. Shame on the city for allowing this noise pollution. It’s clear that residents take care to maintain a level of historic charm in the neighbourhood, then a business comes in and completely disrupts that.
