Friendly staff, cool building but that’s all that’s good about it. Big rip off for a $800 room. Super small, no room, average amenities and barely a river view. Supper, the hotel restaurant was very average and bad service. Don’t recommend for the price.

Hotel's Favorite
My husband booked me a room to have a solo getaway. From the valet and front desk, to the turndown service, the experience was above and beyond. Upon arrival, I was given a free margarita to enjoy in their library lounge. I also enjoyed the coffee service in the morning. Supper was also a superb dining experience. The beds were comfortable and this quite possibly might be the best shower I've used. The location is great and close to restaurants, bars, boutiques, and a short drive to museums. Highly recommend.

Without a doubt, our stay at Hotel Emma was a bucket-list accomplishment. We enjoyed our room overlooking the River, and the music of the various mariachi bands who played at the River-front platform below our balcony. The gas fireplace on the balcony was a tremendous touch to ward off the late evening winter chill while enjoying our hotel library-made cocktails. The concierge took us on our own little tour of the place and we found out about the legend of the ‘Three Emma’s’. That was an eye opener... We had a light dinner at the hotel restaurant, ‘Supper’, after a drink at the hotel bar. Maybe we should make this a semi-annual trip. The military rate certainly makes it a touch more affordable.

Top quality throughout, including extraordinarily attentive staff. Hotel is at the far end of the River Walk in the vibrant and yet relaxing Pearl District. We loved that atmosphere - expansive plaza with nice stores and restaurants.
