We stayed at the Riverwalk Vista for 2 nights at the end of November. We stayed in room 309, the Depot Vista. Although this was not the room we originally booked, it was a lovely corner room on the top floor. There is a lift. The rooms are very "warehouse" effect, which personally I like. The shower was fantastic. The... More

Very conveniently located close to the Convention Center and the Riverwalk, and priced better than the large chain hotels in the area. The decor may not be for everyone -- the property definitely has a "charm/historic" vibe to it -- but personally I liked the place a lot. It would be perfect if it were just a bit higher up... More

I stayed at the Riverwalk Vista for two nights while in San Antonio on business. What a fantastic place! My room was a huge, large corner room with tons of charm. The dressing area was roomy and the shower was phenomenal! The complementary wine from 5-8, the yummy cookies and the delicious breakfast were all wonderful treats! The best part was... More

What a nice Inn, just like a Bed and Breakfast. Stayed 3 nights and found out the difference between a staying at a large hotel versus a quaint Inn that has 3 floors and only 17 rooms. The staff was absolutely wonderful and so friendly as well as very helpful. The rooms were large and at the same time very... More

When we first saw it we were a tiny drop disappointed but as soon as we got upstairs and saw our room (the Hugman Suite) and saw all of the public areas these feelings quickly vanished. Everything about this place was fantastic - the location could not be better, the ambience, the breakfast and the wine and snacks in the... More

We had a three night stay. The converted warehouse is decorated with wonderful antiques, quilts, and historic photos. The columns, stairs, and other architectural features give the Inn unique character. The Inn's location on the River Walk is amazing--right in the middle of everything! Walking distance to the Alamo, and the historic La Villita shopping area. Short $1.10 public bus... More

We only stayed at this hotel for 1 night. The location is fantastic. The hotel itself was very interesting. It had a feel more of a bread and breakfast than an actual hotel. Our room was a little on the small side but very comfortable. I liked the public areas. They were very warm and cozy. The large windows offered... More

As someone who has traveled a lot, this is one of my favorite hotels. I use the word hotel loosely; the Riverwalk Vista is more HOMEY, cozy, CHARMING, unusual and DELIGHFUL! Loved the hard wood floors, gorgeous furnishings, and high ceilings. This is a historic building, converted into a gorgous, one-of-a-kind hotel. Loved the room! Beautiful bed, goldfish in every... I had a good stay, but this place isn't for everyone. I was traveling on business, and had a meeting at the convention center, which is nearby. I'll list the pros, the quirks, and the cons below. Pros include: historic character that fits into the Riverwalk District very nicely; kind and helpful staff; clean room with a comfortable bed. Quirks... More

This Inn is part of a restored original San Antonio historic building. The rooms are beautiful and full of character with original brickwork on the walls and beautiful original wooden floors. The location made walking back and forth to the Riverwalk and The Alamo a breeze. It is full of little hideaways perfect for intimate conversation with a glass of... More
