This was our first time in San Antonio and the experience was great. Everyone in Texas is so nice. The hotel lobby will blow your mind, it is so beautiful. The outside is very colorful and gorgeous. We love that Bluegreen has a place in Texas now. The staff was great, we went to the live music they have there and really enjoyed it. Jarvis at the front desk was just AMAZING, he saw we had Alabama gear on and said ROLL TIDE as we were walking out, so of course we had to talk with him. We talked SEC football and turns out he knows one of our favorite players Jalen Hurts. Jarvis is such a nice and respectable young man. He gave us a few places to visit and fantastic recommendations to eat. Overall the stay was amazing. Thank you San Antonio and Eilan :)
Dirty pool, $50 for a half day cabana rental... $12 for weak margaritas (pool bar was not open Monday-Thursday). There was NO food or bars open during our stay (other than microwave Starbucks food in the Mart)... no maid service for our room... the bathroom had no towel racks and no exhaust fan... there was one chair (I guess for my wife and I too share?)... I voiced my disappointment to the Assistant General Manager and received a "blank stare"... other than the manager, I felt the staff was also wondering why the place was open since they couldn't do anything to assist the guest... the local Holiday Inn has maid service (and food) at half the price of this joint... go figure. The Eilan should shut down until they can figure out how to offer guests a better experience... this was a three day birthday get away for my wife... I feel we were ripped off and advise you to stay away.…
Dirty pool $50 for a cabana $12 for a margarita while seniors are forced to sit in the sun, Mentioned the dirty pool at the front desk still dirty the next day during these times you would think cleanliness would be paramount. Now management can come on here and say they are sorry all they want or just clean the pool area. I will give praise to the valet service Fast efficient group who gave good $20 a day service
During our awesome staycation I had the best massage ever, I highly recommend Jasmine W. at the spa. Will definitely be back! Wonderful hotel and amenities also!! Cannot wait for spa to be completely reopened so all facilities can be utilized, absolutely beautiful.
We booked a long weekend with the idea that we would stay on property and just relax, no running around and minimal exposure. We understood that certain amenities would not be available, the problem was that amenities that were listed as available were not really available. The outdoor pool was open and beautiful, the spa was partially open and the service was great, the problem came when we attempted to have any meal. On the website The regular restaurant was listed as open with adjusted hours and a modified menu. We arrived on Thursday evening and were given a packet that described what was open and menus. The breakfast available was “Starbucks type” no sit down service at all. The bar/ restaurant was stated to close at 9, we arrived an hour before and were told they were closing and we could get a to go drink. The next day we had checked the pool lounge menu and decided we would eat lunch there. When we attempted to order they only had one item on the menu available. We enquired about the other restaurant and were told that they did not open for 3 hours. So that was a bust. We had no maid service during the visit, no trash pickup and no replenish of the coffee service. When we asked at the front desk there was no reason given ( not its r/t COVID-19 or anything). So overall- beautiful site, nice staff, hit and miss service.…
