The spa here is great! I love the atmosphere, very clean, spacious and has a great team of staff members. I had a wonderful massage from Mali. If your looking to relax, this is the way to go. Thank you!
We stayed in a 1-bedroom suite with bunk beds. We were disappointed the bottom bunk head clearance was too low even for our youngest. bathroom was walk through with 2 sliding doors, no privacy to the bedroom. Small mini fridge, keurig, no microwave. Only 2 tiny trash cans.
Pros: The hotel property is simply beautiful. I liked the location of the hotel and its proximity to shopping and restaurants in the area. The AC unit was adequate. The king bed was very comfortable. Cons: 1. This detail RUINED the hotel stay for me. I booked a "king suite" believing it would mirror the images shown on the Eilan/Choice Hotel's website when I booked directly on the Eilan hotel website. The images showed the typical suite layout with a separated living room and bedroom. However, my "suite" was not in this layout; it was a one large bedroom which I felt should have been classified as a large standard room, or even a junior suite. Had I known the "king suite" would look more like a single standard bedroom, I certainly would not have paid the extra amount of money for the "suite" I feel I did not get. I asked the booking desk if I was placed in a wrong room or junior suite on accident, but was told my room was definitely classified as a king suite, despite the layout shown on the hotel's website for a king suite. I felt deceived!!!! 2. The elevators in this hotel are slow and outdated. One of the elevators are entirely too small. The hotel should consider adding a 3rd elevator. 3. The bedroom's television was outdated and blurry. A hotel of this level should have no issue paying for a television with HD quality. I was insulted by the television quality. 4. The bathroom's oversized sink/vessel in the "king suite" was extremely impractical. We could not place our toiletry bag or belongings anywhere on the bathroom sink counter because of the lack of space. It just didn't make any sense. 5. The lighting in the bathroom vanity was horrific. I can't imagine anybody putting on makeup in the bathroom mirror. The lighting in the bedroom was also terrible.…
Wow, I'm not sure where to start. This place is amazing. It's beautiful inside and out, the restaurants were delicious and reasonable. The area was great, lots of shops and restaurants but still not far from downtown. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming. There were so many little, intimate lounging areas all over. Very posh and super clean. We did not wear a mask anywhere and were never hassled about it. It is valet only, which wasn't a problem for us. They sent me a birthday card that the front desk had signed, making me feel special. I can't wait to visit again when we have more time.
It goes without saying the management team at this property is top notch. There is no way an organization can run as smoothly as this one does without the talents, professionalism and genuine care for customer satisfaction coming from the top. During our stay we had the opportunity to come in contact with multiple employees. At every level, from Valet, bellhops, front desk, concierge, owner's sales team, housekeeping, restaurant waitstaff and convenience store clerks we felt listened to, understood, respected, and accommodated with a true willingness to see that we were 'wowed'. We were treated with kindness and respect throughout our stay. The facility is stunningly beautiful, as you would expect in the finest of boutique hotels. There are multiple areas offering quiet escapes to relax and soothe your senses, both inside and out. The hotel is bright and gleaming with natural light reflecting from various marble surfaces. The rapturous smell of lavender wafts throughout the main floor bringing a sense of calm and tranquility. Noted were the live blooming orchids, various fine furnishings, set up as conversation pits, one such even offering the ambiance which only a fire in a fireplace can bring. This property is an amazing treat that I highly recommend and personally plan to return again and again.…
