The hotel is literally across from the Alamo. We got upgraded to a suite on the top floor and from the corner window we could see the Alamo and the crowd clearly. As this Gibbs building is a historical landmark at 100 years old, the rooms do have some quirks with odd corners. For example, our toilet was at an...

Nothing spectacular about this place. As another reviewer noted, the lobby smells like burned toast. The "bistro" is not a bistro. Budweiser beer and pastries. I called ahead of time to inquire about pet fees. The receptionist quoted me a price of a $25.00 pet deposit in total. Upon arrival, I was charged $75.00 since the Alamo Indigo is a...

The main reason we keep coming back is the great location. It's right across the street from the Alamo and only a couple of blocks to walk to the Riverwalk action. This location is a renovated old historical building with partial interior remaining. We enjoy the location and history. A problem we have encountered on each visit is the restaurant...

Everyone was so nice, friendly and very accommodating. We loved how the rooms were so authentic and original. The restaurant was clean, very well decorated and the bartender was so nice and polite. We loved it and will definitely stay there again in the near future.

The hotel itself is OK. Parking is an addition $29 if you don't want to pay the $20 in the parking lot that might be full that is right next to the hotel. The hotel is clean, the rooms are small, but clean. The bed is comfortable. The building is right next to the Alamo and just a short walk...

Very nice small room but good view. Probably a bit noisy for light sleepers. Clean. Friendly staff. Historic hotel built in 1909 and beautifully presented and preserved. Good job on the booking to the hubby!

When I first walked into room my first thought was oh no. By the end of stay was glad that we had the opportunity to stay in a quaint first class hotel with an exceptional staff. Room was quiet with an exceptional view of the Alamo.

I loved the location it's in downtown right. Y the Alamo literally across the street and the river walk. No parking though. Valet is $39 a day and they park it at some gated place. If not you will have to park in a lot next to the hotel that's called the Alamo parking $20 a day. The room was...

The place is a beauty... the room we stayed at, fronting The Alamo, was quaint and every morning you wake up with a view of American History...
