The hotel is older, but beautiful and cozy. You feel like you are in Havana. The decor is perfect. The rooms are larger than a standard hotel room. The Ocho restaurant is great. It's small, but has indoor and outdoor seating. A great variety of dishes. We had dinner and breakfast and were happy with both. We loved the hotel.... More

From the moment we entered the front lobby, we were greeted with courteous staff. The room was better than expected... filled with interesting details and eclectic items that made us feel right at home and in some exotic city at the same time. The wait staff and the bartender provided excellent service. The unique and "hip" atmosphere provided a feeling... More

My wife and I live in San Antonio and when we want a little quick getaway without leaving town we hit Hotel Havana. We have stayed twice at Havana and really enjoyed ourselves both times. Recommend the Queen suite #27. There is a restaurant/bar called Ocho which overlooks the river, always good. But if you want a dim-lit, fun place... More

The boutique hotel in downtown San Antonio is a reprieve from the rest of the chain hotels that are overpriced. Each room is different and decorated in a very welcoming and warming style that will make you wish you lived there full time. I cannot give enough praise for this place. The restaurant and two bars are great. You can... More

Our 2 day stay was wonderful. This 102 year old building has turn of the century charm. Room was very spaciouis and comfortable. The extremely high bed was a bit difficult to get into, but very comfortable. Staff was excellent; helpful and customer friendly. The restaurant/bar was very good. Again, wait staff excellent. Great location. Walk everywhere. San Antonio Riverwalk... More

Built in 1914, this Hotel has truly obtained so much character. Red carpeting throughout, squeeky stairs and floorboards, odd furniture, traditional Keys for doors instead of electronic card readers...it's magnificent! Benefits included at our time of visit were Free Wifi, Guest Passes for Gold's Gym, and Complimentary Drinks from the Ocho restaurant attached to the Hotel Unfortunately, there are no... More

It´s always a bit suspicious when you find earplugs in your room, but it turned out fine. Its an old hotel, but everything that you need works (including internet). The decoration does honor to its name and I had a pink refrigerator filled with goodies (not cheap). If you like new facilities, this is not your best choice, but its... More

While I had high expectations before arriving, Hotel Havana met them. The hotel’s design is charming and thoughtful, so get your cameras ready. Front desk agents at check-in and check-out were friendly and helpful. Parking is a little tight in their lot but most sights were a short drive away, which was convenient. Our King room was very spacious and... More

I haven't been to Cuba, but I'm willing to believe this hotel captures some of its feel. Our second-floor room opened on to a roomy veranda; some of the light fixtures are operated by pull chains; the bathroom tiles are pretty; the in-room fridge was a vintage style. The room was large, the bed comfortable. The bathroom was also roomy.... More
