Booked through expedia. Showed up and they said they needed a credit card for incidentals. ONCE HE HAD THE CARD, The front office said they had to charge me a hotel reservation fee to the card already in his hand. NOPE. TOLD ME TO CANCEL THROUGH EXPEDIA AND EXPEDIA REFUSEDd. FUK THIS SHeT HOLE. THEY don't respect expedia reservations and will charge you more once your credit card is in their hands after telling you they need it for incidentals. Will dispute with my bank.

Dear Micheal, Your feedback indicates that there was a complete breakdown with the stay which is really worrisome. We will investigate the card charging issue and its reasons. This is not at all a regular feature of our hotel and something has gone wrong. We regret the inconveniences but will investigate and based on that will take all possible steps to prevent such an experience to any guest. Guest reviews are serious for us and thank you for your understanding. Sincerely, Hotel Manager.

The clerk was very rude! We checked in 5:30pm on Dec 28th right before the Spurs game. I’ve stayed at Choice Hotels before and did not expect the service I received or the dirty room plus the in and out at all hours. Thought could stay at a cheap place for one night to just sleep. Big mistake! The front clerk was very rude. She was not happy about her job and she made it known to me. I am a Choice member and somehow my reservation showed a smoking instead of non smoking for one of the 2 rooms reserved. That’s where the trouble started. She said that’s what I reserved so to move me to a non smoking I was going to get charged more and I got a dose of her attitude. “Do you want the room or not”. Stay away from this place!

room was ok, clean with microwave and fridge. AC worked well and wasn't loud. Bed was comfy. Pool was small and not really made for tanning. Breakfast was typical rodeway breakfast with not much on it. wifi was slow, plus everytime you set your phone down, you had to reconnect to the wireless. My problem here is that I'm a light sleeper, so being right along the freeway, you hear everything. Also there is a railway crossing by the hotel too so you hear every whistle of passing trains. You also need to drive everywhere from here because there is not much around here. But is you are a heavy sleeper, this place is fine

I went to visit my Daughter at fort Sam Houston and this was a great location not to far from the base. The room was clean and the AC works well. It was the first hotel that I’ve stayed in in several years that didn’t have bottled water in the room and none was available in the office. I didn’t rent a car, so I had to walk over a mile for water. The price for what you get is good. The bedding is average. Pillows are uncomfortable. Staff was nice. I would stay here again if visiting fort Sam Houston. I would just have my Uber stop to get water on the way.

I arrived at location. Front desk guy was ok. The room however needs work. The toilet was literally not attached firmly to the floor. The A/C was cold & for the record, the fo not have bus parking. I would spend a little extra next time & go somewhere else.
