This is a great place to stay. It's clean and well kept. Everything works in the room. There is no coffee pot though. But, it's a nice sized room, comfy bed and did I mention how clean it was? The lady at the check-in desk is nice and helpful with where to eat and things to do. Would stay here again.

We were in Mounatinair to see the Salinas Missions National Monument. There are two places to stay and we chose The Rock. Glad we did. First of all, the hosts are quite pleasant and interested in our comfort. A nice thing. The Motel is an old fashioned strip motel with a gravel parking lot. They've set up an outdoor space with awning, chairs, tables and BBQ grills. We didn't use it. But a nice touch. The room is great. It's obvious that they've taken care to keep it updated. It's clean and crisp. The bathroom has been completely renovated. The room has the usual - king bed, bed table, credenza, writing desk, easy chair, mini-fridge and microwave. We were impressed with all the care they took to make the room nice. We would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here on a cross country motorcycle trip. This is a small town off the beaten path. It is an older facility that has been nicely updated. It meets the important road warrior criteria...quiet room, clean comfortable beds, cold A/C, hot shower. No breakfast. No ice. There is a good cafe about 100 yards down the road. This is a great place to stay if you are exploring the Salinas Pueblo mission ruins.

RV section had only electricity. No water to camper. No sewer. No restrooms. No showers. Charged $23 for just one night's electricity hook up. Staff person indicated she could not change price on orders from management. Don't bother.

We are closed for the winter but you said you wanted it anyways and that you did not need anything but the electricity.

Stayed at the Rock motel while visiting relatives in Mountainair. Clean, large room, nice bed, easy parking right next to our room. My girlfriend needed a hair dryer and the staff sent one right over. Price was unbelievably low. Great place; I will stay there again
