This is the coziest, most beautiful little bed and breakfast in a beautiful area of Salem. From the minute you arrive at this gorgeous, well-maintained historic home, you feel welcome. We stayed in the Rebecca Nurse suite and fell in love with it. From the bedding to the wallpaper to all of the trinkets, everything was so charming, we didn't want to leave. There is a level of care and detail that Bob, the owner, puts into every single aspect of the home and his guests. Bob is such a kind host and he welcomes you into his home like family - right away, you can tell that he loves doing this and that he cares. He also makes a delicious breakfast - the stuffed french toast was to die for. Aside from the place itself being wonderful, you're also within walking distance of Downtown Salem, and all of the historic spots, shops, museums, restaurants, bars, cafes, microbreweries, etc. We didn't have to drive our car once while we were there, so it is super accessible for folks who might be coming via train or bus. Cannot recommend this place enough! If you're going to Salem, treat yourself by staying at Morning Glory Bed & Breakfast - I promise you'll love it.

We stayed here during the busy season of October and were blown away with how great this place is. It’s within a 10 minute walk to any downtown attraction with free off street parking. The B&B is an exquisite historic home which is meticulously maintained. We stayed in the Elizabeth Howe room which had it’s own private entrance with a deck that had a view of the harbor. Bob, the owner, was a kind and welcoming host who made us an unbelievable breakfast. Can’t say enough about this place, highly recommend!

This place is so cute and Bob made some amazing breakfasts for us!! We are so glad we stayed here! We stayed for 3 nights in October and it is conveniently located within walking distance to all of the attractions yet privately located toward the end of a dead end street. It was also really nice that he has his own parking area in back. The deck had a very nice view of the harbor.

My wife and I stayed here for our 28th anniversary. It was our first time ever at a bed and breakfast and it couldn't have been better. The Morning Glory is on a small road so there was no traffic. It offers private parking which was great. It is located within walking distance of everything Salem had to offer. I parked the car Friday afternoon and never needed it until it was time to go. Bob the owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was perfect and breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend The Morning Glory to anyone planning a trip to Salem.

This was our first time staying at a B&B and the Morning Glory exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the Elizabeth Howe room and were pleasantly surprised to see a beautiful view of the Salem Habor from our own private deck. We were also very happy to find the coffee bar with a range of options in the living area between the rooms! It was extremely quiet and peaceful, not to mention the bedding was immaculate. We couldn't get over how soft and comfortable the sheets were. The rooms were so clean and the attention to small details made us feel like we were at home. Parking is free and everything is within a walking distance. Bob is a great host and made us an amazing breakfast each morning. I would highly recommend everyone to stay here, we will definitely be back!

Bob was the best host we could ask for. No matter what we were looking for he had the perfection recommendations. The house sits on a street with no outlet which made it very quit and we loved the outdoor seating area right outside our room. Breakfast was fabulous. Bob outdid himself every morning. A true gem in Salem.

Beyond expectations! Innkeeper Bob welcomed us warmly and was nearby for answering questions and friendly chat. Breakfast was amazing! We stayed 2 nights in the Elizabeth Howe Room and found it charming and well-appointed. One door to the room accessed a communal living room, and another opened up to our own covered porch with a harbor view. The location was perfect for us - close to shops and restaurants, and the House of 7 Gables next door where we celebrated a wedding. We'll be back!

My husband and I had a great weekend at the Morning Glory B&B. Our room was very comfortable (even in a heatwave). The house was charmingly decorated. We were in the Sarah Goode suite on the top floor, which had its own bathroom, bedroom, and sitting area. There was also access to a beautiful rooftop deck with an amazing view of the water. Every detail was taken care of, from easy parking and arrival to water bottles and candy in the room. The location was also excellent - across the street from the House of the 7 Gables, around the corner from several great restaurants, and a block from the Custom House/water front.

We only stayed one night but will definitely return . Everything was excellent from the colonial decor of the rooms to the outdoor sitting areas on the decks and in the back yard. The breakfast varies by day. We had a great homemade quiche that also came with sausages. Bob is a great host and very helpful. .

We stayed one night in the Sarah Good suite, which occupies the entire 3rd floor. There is a separate living room, with the bathroom in between the bedroom and living room. The living room has a mini fridge, tv, coffee and microwave. There is huge deck with views of the water, and comfortable deck furniture. Bob, the innkeeper is very welcoming and friendly. He thought of everything needed to make this a comfortable place, including handy shelves in the bathroom and very comfortable bed with nice linen. The breakfast was wonderful and we highly recommend this B & B! And if you are interested in the House of the Seven Gables (which is a superb historical site), it is located almost next door.
