The Stepping Stone Inn is a great little inn with authentic historic charm and a perfect location right next door to the Salem Witch Museum. The owners Matt and Kelly welcomed us and made sure every need was met. We were so impressed with their caring and kindness not only with us but with the other three parties they had... More

I stayed here for one night in July with a friend, and had to change my reservation at one point due to a change in our plans. Matt was very helpful and accommodating, and helped me to change my reservation with no issues. The house is in an excellent location right in the heart of Salem. The room prices are... More

We stayed for a night in late June on our way from Boston airport to New Hampshire. Our only mistake was that we did not stay for another night. The Inn Keepers Matt and Kelly are very welcoming. Matt gave us the history of the house when we checked in and a tour of the house. They also have some... More

The man who ran this B&B was just wonderful! His cat fell in love with my mother and was just the cutest thing ever! The room was comfortable and clean and right in the center of the city! Perfect location for us to walk to see everything! The Witch Museum is literally next door and worth a visit too! I... More

We stayed in the San Francisco room last week for one night, and enjoyed our stay! Quite honestly, we were there less than 24 hours, but wished that we could have enjoyed this beautiful inn longer. Matt, one of the owners, was wonderful (as was his wife Kelly!). My husband spoke to him prior to our arrival to get suggestions... More

Was in salem for two nights. The owners were wonderful, as well as their cat. We stayed in the Big Sur room, which was clean and comfortable. Beautiful old house within walking distance of just about everything.

There couldn't be a more convenient place to stay in Salem and see all the attractions. Matt and Kelly were such lovely hosts. The rooms were very charming and clean. We stayed in the attic which was very private and has it's own a/c unit so the temperature was perfect. The bed was so comfortable and the blinds really kept... More

Stayed here on a front end of a pleasure/ business getaway. Couldn't have asked for better accommodations! Beautiful themed intimate rooms with awesome location! Oh and the inn owners are very friendly and gave superb recommendations for food and entertainment, all within a very short walk. Great location!

We stayed two nights in this historic, full-of-character building and loved it. The owners were friendly and attentive, gave great recommendations for both tours and restaurants, and supplied us with a helpful map of the city. You can really tell how passionate and knowledgeable they are about Salem, which was great for first-time visitors. The hotel is pretty centrally located,... More

We stayed two nights. We were in the 'blue room'. Very pleased. Lovely and clean, owners attentive (not overly), good location for this stopover. Lots to do in this location. We travelled for 2 weeks and came back to Salem before going home, love the atmosphere. No complaints. Would stay at this location again.
