Place is dirty, room not cleaned, curtains ripped, not all bedding had been refreshed. Garbage container outside overflowing. We did not even want to stay there. This hotel is not representative of Quality Inns. I believe that this hotel does a disservice to Choice hotels.

DO NOT STAY HERE! The rooms are old, dirty and not entirely cleaned. My first night stay ended with my finding bed bugs on my sheets. I highly do not recommend this place. If one bed has bed bugs, one can only imagine how many other beds have it as well.

We've stayed at many Quality Inns and aren't picky, but this one is sorely lacking the quality you expect. When we got to the room the wifi didn't work. We were tired and said we'd deal with it later. We got into bed and turned on the tv but it didn't work. I told my wife, let's just go to sleep. Then, could hear the people in the next room and traffic noise all night. In the morning when we told reception a out the issues the mangers attitude was, if you're not happy you can just check out early. No attempt to make things right. I've read reviews where people complained and were offered a refund if they checked out early but then couldn't get the refund so we decided to bear it. Issues in the room: - dirty cobwebs in the curtains, very dirty shower curtain, carpets not vacuumed, dirt in the corners. -plumbing issues- had to hold down the lever the whole time for the toilet to flush, tub/shower drain very show so you're standing in standing water, sink leaks water all over the top of the vanity. Issues of the Hotel: -pool is filthy, not usable. -door to the parking lot was propped open by a rock several times, trash was left in the parking lot and around the hotel for two days. It's probably other guests doing this but it shows the hotel has no one walking the grounds. Skip this place!

My wife, I, and our petsitters were travelling across the U.S. on a cross country move with our pets, which required three rooms. The rooms were clean and generally everything worked with the exception of the phone in my room which did not work at all. There is ample off-street parking and areas to park a pickup and trailer, which I was driving. The staff were polite and friendly however, the big disappointment came the next morning when we went to breakfast. Long story short, they really don't have a breakfast at this place and you would be better off going somewhere else (if you can find it). If their breakfast had been much better, their overall rating would probably have been 'very good'. They advertise that they are 'pet friendly' and they were able to accommodate our four dogs (two small and two large). There is also an area along side the parking lot where you can take you dogs to go potty. If you are looking for a clean place to just put your head down for the night that is close to Interstate 10, this is the place for you. If you require a pet friendly hotel, this would also be a good place to try.

Fully aware of poor marks, we booked anyway, depending on the company's 6pm cancellation policy if the room was unacceptable. Although staying for three nights, we figured that we would be spending little time there except for sleep. At arrival, we asked to see the room and was allowed after leaving a driver's license at the front desk. Making our way to the room, we noticed that some halls were nice with shiny attractive tiles, while others had old carpet. Our hall had the old carpet. The room was generally clean but needed attention. There was no accumulated dust on picture frames and surfaces were wiped. Bedding was clean and smelled fine. The television was a modern name brand fed with multiple HD channel selections . There was a refrigerator and microwave. The carpet had smoke odors and the sliding glass door had rubber insulation beginning to slide out. The bathroom was remarkably attractive with nice shiny tile and counters. It looked clean and smelled fresh. At the front desk, we asked if any remodeled rooms were available but were told no. At that point we decided to keep the room under the condition that we could change the next day. We sprayed air freshener on the carpet which successfully masked the smoke smell. Sleep was no problem; The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. Breakfast was below par for the hotel brand but had the better brand waffle maker, warm biscuits and gravy, heated egg patties, refrigerated boiled eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit, oatmeal packets, and cereals. Coffee was fine as was the juice. We had enough to eat but wished for a sausage links or ham like most other Choice Group hotels. Security door locks worked properly and the parking lot was well lit. Location was right beside I-10, convenient to travel, shopping malls, and restaurants. That location also means a bit of road noise. In summary, we decided to stay in the room all three nights, using an air freshener to hide the smoke smell.. Yes, you get what you pay for, but we slept well, and did not go hungry. The housekeeping staff was friendly and the front desk person fulfilled our requests. Would we stay there again? Perhaps, but I certainly would check out the room first. The manager and owners need to seriously look at these reviews. Some are really bad and it is hurting their business. The improvements already done look nice, but remaining problems should be corrected, and fast. It is a convenient location that, if brought up to the level of most Quality Inns, would allow them to seriously increase rates.
