We want to change chain owned hotels and we found the lodge. It was very nice, my little one enjoy the pool, and I the hot tube. Rooms are spacious and bed confortable. There is a McDonalds right down the street for cofee in the mornings.

Unfortunately we only stayed one night at this hotel, but we enjoyed it and would definitely consider returning. Our room was spacious, clean, well appointed and quiet. The hotel decor and grounds are appealing, especially the area around the pool and restaurant. We ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant, the food and service were both excellent.

We will be coming back here! The facility is immaculate the grounds are beautiful and the setting is tranquil. Rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and well priced. I recommend their version of eggs Benedict Yumm! Didn't have dinner. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great location. The only drawback was the AC unit...

Beautiful lobby, pool and room. A definite southwest feel with certain sophistication. Relaxing and quiet. Very friendly, helpful service. Great online price! Appeared relatively close to attractions. Would definitely return.

We would stay here again and feel that our experience at Lodge on the Desert was one of the many reasons we fell in love with Tucson. With views of the Catalina Mountains and really friendly staff our stay was more than comfortable. Fun bar and great restaurant. Wander through gorgeous gardens and enjoy pool landscape. Cannot fault this accommodation.

My husband and I had a two-room suite with a balcony we enjoyed almost every night--the views of the mountains to the north were spectacular. All the staff were warm, very helpful. Great restaurant & bar; they even box "to go" dinners for you & let you take your drinks back to the room (state of OR doesn't allow, so...

I had the pleasure of staying at Lodge on the Desert over the weekend and then later in the week. Enjoy the retreat feeling in a hacienda environment that is rich with amenities. Great bed and plush pillows make it easy to sleep. Gas fireplaces add to the ambiance. Love the spa suite with the spa tub - AMAZING!

I stayed an extra week, two weeks total, because I was so enamored of the Lodge on the Desert. It is central to everything, bring a GPS to drive around town, and it is beautiful to see. I had a fireplace in my very large (deluxe) king bedroom that looked out on the pool. Even though it was 100 degrees...

I've been there just for one night in August 2013. This lodge is amazing! Close to Saguaro East Park, it has beautiful rooms, cleaned and very comfortable. Every lodge has a small garden, with a patio with chairs just outside the front door. It offers also a pool and a whirlpool bath with hot water. Best thing is go there...

We originally had reserved a room at another Tucson hotel where the air conditioner was broken. (It was 99 degrees outside!) We were not even told that the air conditioner was broken when we first checked in. We asked for our money back and were then able to find the Lodge in the Desert. The Lodge's staff were gracious and...
