We stay only for a night when we got stuck at Tucson. We were surprised at how well the hotel is maintained and how HUGE and pretty the rooms are. Everything has an earthy feel to it. The pool was pretty nice, too. We are planning on going back for a weekend stay.

We wanted a nice hotel in the center of the city, not in the foothills. This hotel not only met that need, but exceeded expectations, especially noteworthy was a helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable staff. We stayed in a recently renovated room, with an updated bathroom, a large, comfortable king bed, and a working fireplace (which we used for two...

A large group of us visited April 2014 for 5 nights, and it was such a wonderful, accommodating, and serene hotel. The grounds were impeccable, the rooms are large and comfortable, the food at every meal was exquisite, and the staff so friendly and helpful. We will definitely book a stay again at this wonderful boutique hotel!

Loved our stay here. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food at the resaurant was wonderful, and they were more than willing to make changes and be accommodating. Loved the outdoor area by the restaurant, but unfortunately, we were only able to use it once due to cold and rain; however, that...

In my book, 5 stars means perfect or very close to that. The only thing I found wrong with this hotel was the stain on the carpet where it looked like someone had spilled some coffee. The room was large and spacious. We spent our early mornings sipping coffee on our patio and our evenings sipping wine there as well....

This is a nicely and compactly laid out set of accommodations in Tuscon. It is, therefore, not far from other activities. Nice green spaces, a few small water features. I felt as though I was secluded from the Tuscon that was right outside the walls. The restuarant is about average.

The lodge sits behind high walls in the south center of Tucson and it's very easy to forget that you're in the middle of a city when you stay here. Befitting a lodge that has been around for 60 years or so, the grounds feature mature cacti in wonderful shape so strolling around is a pleasure. Everything was spotlessly clean...

My organization and I stayed at Lodge on the Desert for a business meeting. The lodge had great accommodations and was a beautiful place to stay. All of the staff was very gracious and the service was great. I especially want to point out a bartender there named Jerry Lohrentz. He was extremely helpful and was always eager to serve...
