This resort is well maintained and very clean. All employees are friendly and service oriented. Food in the restaurant was great. We visited at a time when they were not busy but all facilities were open and working fine. I would recommend this resort for a relaxing get away.
We were 5 nights at El Conquistador, a solid 4 Star hotel, but we elevate it to 5 Star by virtue of its gracious (and abundant) staff. It also has a gorgeous setting, and every kind of athletic opportunity (though we didn't use any of them). Everywhere we turned an employee was asking if he/she could help, get me a bottle of water, etc? They are doing a lot of things right. Highest possible recommendation. (I have never written a more favorable review.) A note about Hilton's "Gold status": Because we were gold status they upgraded us to a lovely suite, really a one-bedroom condo. Gold status is easy to "earn"---you get it simply by having an American Express Hilton credit card---and if you are gold status you get free breakfast daily and upgrade if available. The annual fee for the card is $95 a year but well worth it if you use the benefit a couple of times a year,as we do. On this stay, the upgrade was worth at least $750.00.…
We enjoy very much the El Conquistador! We have been stayed at the resort now 3 times and each time has been perfect. The staff, the views, food is outstanding! It has everything! You can enjoy the resort with buddies, couples, or family get away. Covid: All safety guide line are in place, all masks are worn by the staff, and cleaning / sanitizing is constantly being done. You can feel at ease and enjoy your time at El Conquistador!
The staff at the El Conquistador helped us have a wonderful stay. From the time we walked in until we left everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Front desk, pool staff, grounds, restaurant, housekeeping staff all went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. Thank you so much for a great weekend.
I’m staying here as we speak. I will never stay here again. Extremely plain rooms, horrible beds, scratchy sheets, very expensive menu, very basic tv, this is not a resort, one step up from any basic comfort inn.
