This was our third, but last stay at this property. The previous two stays were prior to the pandemic. This time, the room was average in terms of cleanliness. What was very irritating was their approach to the included breakfast -- which was the same thing every day...luke warm coffee and cold breakfast burritos (as the hot option). Hidden in the backroom were bags containing yogurt, a sugary muffin, and a power bar (as the cold option). You had to ask for the second option as there was no indication that if even existed. Lastly, two different front desk clerks were rude and unfriendly. It seemed that they were not interested in doing business...I'll oblige them and take my money elsewhere.

Dear Trekster123, Thank you for your feedback and comments as we do appreciate the constructive criticism to always improve our standards and what we offer to our guests. In order to maintain our safe environment & do our part to reduce risks, we have a limited breakfast option. We do hope to have our amazing & wonderful breakfast open soon. And at that time, we would love to welcome you back. Would it be ok to reach back out, once our full service breakfast is available in hopes that you might return for another night? We do strive to make everyone feel very comfortable and welcome and our sincerest apologies for your below average stay. Stay well and please come see us again soon.

Hotel's Favorite
My family recently stayed at the Williams Center Doubletree in Tucson. We needed a comfortable hotel near Tucson Medical Center because my elderly mother was having some serious health issues and would need to be close to the hospital. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Both our rooms overlooked the beautiful pool area. Both had a living room, kitchenette, and a comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet is in a restaurant-like setting and very cozy. The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The hotel feels like a mini resort. We had a small issue with our bill as we were checking out (nothing big). The Manager Michael Sharkey attended for us immediately. He listened and corrected the issue immediately. He expressed empathy for my mother’s situation and wanted to make sure she was comfortable as possible during this stay and future stays. When my parents called a month later to rebook (they live 2 hours outside of Tucson), Michael remembered them and went the extra mile to make sure they had everything they needed. It’s so nice to meet genuine people who care about their guests (and don’t just make empty promises). Since I live across the country just knowing someone on staff would be taking care of the details for my parents for their next stay gave me incredible peace of mind. Our experience with the staff, manager, and the quality of the property amenities means we will be staying at The Williams Center Doubletree every time we are in Tucson!

Condoms in drawers upon arrival, dead bugs and food under both beds and in couch sofa bed. Extra blanket disgusting. Filthy channel changers. Bathroom door sticks loudly. No towels provided at pool even after asking - wouldn't hand out to guests. Breakfast was disgusting. Guests are required to wear masks when getting their bagged-breakfast during Covid but server wasn't required to do so. Garbage overflowing in outside bins. I thought during Covid places cleaned - this one was filthy.

Hello U9918WJci, Thank you for staying with us and we certainly appreciate your feedback as it’s how we can improve. I would like to apologize for the less than satisfactory stay you experienced. Please know that we take the cleanliness of our hotel as paramount. Our hotel has instituted Hilton's CleanStay protocol, and are performing all cleaning with hospital grade disinfectant, with a particular focus on frequently touched areas like door handles, faucets, remote controls, etc... I am also sorry that you did not enjoy our complimentary grab-and-go breakfast. As we are among the few DoubleTree hotels with complimentary breakfast for our guests, we have received many positive comments on our breakfast burritos and other breakfast items. Currently, local regulations require all people to wear a mask in public, which is required of our team and guests alike. I apologize for the inconvenience, but we are committed to doing everything to keep our guests and our team safe. Please feel free to reach out to me at 520-745-2700 if you would like to discuss further as your satisfaction is a top priority for our team. We'd certainly like to have the opportunity to welcome you again to the hotel.

This was my first time staying at this DoubleTree location. It is an older property (formerly an Embassy Suites). I didn't mind the popcorn ceilings, etc. because the walls were very thick and soundproofed. We didn't hear a thing from the other rooms and we slept very well. I was disappointed that they do not have their signature DoubleTree chocolate chip cookies, but they advised since their restaurant is closed due to Covid, they are not able to bake cookies at this time. Their breakfast buffet is also not open, but they do have "grab and go" breakfast bags on request at the front desk from 6 - 9 am (Monday - Friday) and 6 - 10 am on the weekends. The bags included: yogurt, granola, a granola bar, and a piece of fruit. It was definitely enough to fill us up for breakfast. Nobody told me at check-in that housekeeping only cleaned the rooms every four days, and even then, only upon request. I was able to get some clean towels and extra toiletries at the front desk. The room seemed very clean when we arrived. All in all, this was a very good stay. We did not use the pool, but I saw a staff member cleaning it every day. The location of the hotel is great. It is very close to stores and many restaurants.

Hi Brezi, We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay with us here in Tucson. Our suites are indeed very spacious and quite soundproof for a perfect night's rest! And the complimentary breakfast, is a great way to start your day. I do apologize for the miscommunication at check in as in order to reduce contact with guests and team members, housekeeping has been reduced as a safety precaution in response to COVID-19. We take safety of our guests and associates seriously and want to do our part to reduce risks. We will review these procedures with the team to ensure guests have the right information moving forward. We hope you will visit us again soon here at our central location in Tucson's Williams Center area. If we can help in booking your next visit, certainly reach out directly to our team!

This hotel is in major need of renovation. The rooms were very smelly. I was with a group of 26 of us and most complained of musty smelling rooms. The bathroom is TINY - with only a shower/stool inside, and the sink outside the bathroom. The rooms were also very dark with poor lighting. There were panhandlers outside as well. I would not recommend this hotel.
