As a frequent traveler for work, I try to stay away from the "hotel/motel" rooms and look for local places to stay. I need to feel the place is clean, safe and comfortable. Free parking and WIFI is a must for me. I found ALL of this at Hacienda del Desierto Bed and Breakfast! My room was quiet, private and... More

What an awesome little gem of a place! This charming oasis of relaxation is tucked away in the scenic foothills of the eastern Tucson mountains. Far enough away from Tucson to forget you are only 15 minutes away from a bustling city, but close enough to be super convenient for traveling into Tucson if need be. My wife and I... More

My husband and I went here for our 7th year anniversary trip for 3 nights. It is definitely more then we usually spend. ($189.00 a night) But we read good things about it so we thought we would splurge since it was our anniversary. The B&B is tucked away in an absolutely beautiful area. The property is well taken care... More

I came here with my husband for 3 nights. It is an amazing place in the desert. It has big rooms, it's clean, comfortable and the owners, David and Rosemary, are beautiful people. The breakfast in the morning is really good, every day we got something different. And in the afternoon there is a beautiful jacuzzi in the garden waiting... More

My wife & I are not easily impressed & we love unique spots when we travel without the kids. This B&B is as unique & personable as its owners. The landscape & details are very well maintained, as well as being in a great location to the cave & canyon. Great little oasis.

If you like beautiful mountain views, nature, animals and fantastic rooms, this is a must visit place. Unfortunately we had only booked two nights at this wonderful B&B but we really enjoyed every minute of our visit. Had chosen the Rosa room which was absolutely amazing with lovely decorations, spacious and very functional with some kitchen facilities which we did`nt... More

Our first stay in Tucson, and this lovely property and its owners, Rosemary and David, have spoiled us! The hacienda type architecture, the comfortable size and style, complete with its own preserve, the many birds, from hummers to hawks, the collection of cacti (replete with flowers while were there), and the curious javelinas...all came together for our desert getaway. Oh!... More

We spent two full days and three nights at this great bed and breakfast. Early morning runs along the nearby trail going through Saguaro East monument, delicious breakfasts, lots of places to work with my two colleagues during the day as we crafted our book. The owners are delightful and even the weather cooperated with lots of sun, nice breezes... More

We were delighted with our accommodations in the separate Casita. Everything was so comfortable with patios on two sides so you can change your views or orientation to the sun. Even with temperatures in the upper 90's, the a/c worked fine. We used this as a base for birding the Tucson area and it's central to many hotspots. And then... More

You will be pleased you chose the Hacienda, as we were. Rosemary has thought of everything, including the inviting sitting areas (outside and in), fabulous bed, rustic luxury, desert trail thru the property, abundant bird and other wildlife. A family of javelinas (google it) came a-calling one morning to the patio of our room. We were entranced. Saguaro National Park... More
