We’re wintering in Tucson this year. We’ve enjoyed all of our time here, awesome Thanksgiving luncheon, lot’s of activities. Nice gym, pickle ball courts, bocce ball, tennis, lot’s of shopping close. A+ in my opinion. If you decide to come here and pull a trailer or 5th wheel ask for a deluxe space, it’s well worth the additional cost.

First of all, this park is neat and clean and they have a lot of amenities that are nice to have when spending a long time in the park. The office is very helpful and the park guests are all very friendly. Unfortunately, this is a very old park that was not originally set up to accommodate large trailers or motorhomes. Each site is very narrow and parking a big rig almost requires the assistance of more than one person. Luckily, the neighbors immediately started moving tow vehicles to give us more space to maneuver and offered assistance to help with the parking process. The hindrance was the fact that a very large palm tree, and a street light, were right on the corner of the lot which impeded the parking process. A look down the street shows that almost every space has to contend with a tree that is growing in the wrong spot when it comes to trying to park a rig. The place to park our tow vehicle is very small and, once we were parked, the neighbor almost had trouble parking his truck because to open his door would mean that he would almost hit the side of our rig. We could open a window in the rig and almost touch his truck. Luckily, they turned out to be very nice people. Our “Patio” area was concrete but slimmer than a normal sidewalk. Again, all of the neighbors were very nice people. The facilities included a laundry that, unfortunately, was not adequate to accommodate over 400 RV spaces so finding machines to wash and dry could be a challenge. Additionally, they did NOT have enough garbage bins to accommodate the volume. Notes from the office included stern warnings, and an outright threat, regarding putting garbage outside of the bins but the bins filled up within 24 hours of being dumped and there was no other alternative. The other issue that I want to mention is the fact that they accommodated my request to have mail forwarded to them before we arrived and they did so without a problem. I paid a key deposit ($5) to pick up the mail, returned the key within five minutes, and they told me that they would refund the key deposit. They did not do so and I did not address the issue with the staff before we left. We were just very, very disappointed with the entire 7 day experience while there. We will not return.

We phoned to book a spot here for 2 nights, we were told that someone would be at the gate at 2 pm, because the office was closed on the weekends. We drove our rv for over 4 hours, when we arrived there was no one at the gatehouse. Used the phone at the gate to call office, women informed me that the man wasn’t in until 4 pm. She said that SHE was in the office! She started asking questions about our rv and apparently ours is too old. It has to be 10 years old or newer which is fine but the man did not tell us that and I couldn’t see that on their website. The woman hung up on me before I could ask her to let us in so we could turn around, luckily someone came in behind us and opened the gate. I wouldn’t stay there even if we were allowed, frankly the woman in the office was a bi#ch

This place is basically a park model mobile home community with a few RV sites so they can keep their zoning as a campground. Limited bath/shower facilities & nowhere near the RV section. Sites are extremely narrow with palm trees in the way. Located close to nothing. Don’t know How this place got straight 10’s from Good Sam.

The ladies in the front office and activity center are the best. The people who own homes here are some of the friendliest we've met since our trip started. The free wifi has its issues, but what park doesn't? We had no need for cable, as we have satellite, so I can't comment. Love that it's an over 55 park. And it's been one of the friendliest dog parks we've stayed, no whining about our 110 pound lap dog. The site we stayed in was long enough for our 40-foot class A motorhome, with slideouts, and ample room for a sitting area, plus an additional area to park our car. The view of the mountains, and the sunsets are amazing.

First Time we’ve stayed at this resort on the southeast side of Tucson. Much quieter than its sister resort Rincon Country West because it’s not in the direct take-off flight path of the air force base. Extremely friendly community! Clean and efficient.

Old park, very tight spaces, palm trees in way of easy access to spot. Built way before slide outs were in vogue. Very poor cable in the deluxe RV section, all new crew in office, nice people in the activities center. Many things to do if you need company. Will not return next year......the Rincon west is better. Most of office people very new to the job.

Stayed here 2/5 and 2/6 2018. While traveling to Tuscon from Las Crueses, we called Rincon East and made a reservation for the two nights. Repeated that the reservation was for two night on three occasions during that call. Checked in and the balance due was low, so I again confirmed that our stay was for two nights and was advised, yes. Right off there was something wrong, advertisement states escort to site, however,, there was no escort. Got the the assigned site and there were belongings on the site? Backed in and the guest from the site behind stated that the occupants of the site were our for the day, however, they were returning? Called the office and relayed this information and there was confusion on their part and they stated they would check and get back to me. Office called back about 5 min later and advised they were assigning a new site, so we moved off the site and down to the next site only to find a truck parked on that site. Tried to make contact with the guests on each side of the truck, no one home. Called the office to advise and they informed me that the truck parked their was out of their control, I asked what I was supposed to do and they stated that they would send the maintenance crew down. 15 min later maintenance crew shows up and does the same thing I did and tried to reach the guests on each side, no one home. Guest from across the street comes over and tells the maintenance crew that the site they are tying to put me on has no sewer?. Called the office and they stated they would have to see where they could put me and to sit tight. Office calls back 10 min later and provides another site across the street from the first site. Finally get set up an hour and a half after our arrival. No cable on site, note advertisement states one of the amenities is "cable" no asterisk next to that amenity, asked the maintenance man about cable and he says no cable. I state that his campground ad lists cable, he replies, not my campground. I asked if he worked there, he states he is only a maintenance man and that he only works there, I asked if there was anyone accountable at this "resort"? He said he was not looking to argue and walked off. Called the office and asked about the cable and was advised that cable is only on the "deluxe" sites. I asked about the ad and was advised that they were already no going to charge me for the second night due to all the issues experienced and was advised the only thing I could do was leave and they would refund all money, I asked where I would find another site now that it is 4 j In the afternoon? They stated sorry but that was all they could do. I asked to speak with a manager and was advised they were busy, I asked for their CEO and was told I would have to call him at their other resort. Called and was advised that he had left for the day and explained the situation to the office manager, she assured me that the CEO would address the next day. Meantime, guests across the street at the first site we were directed to returned and wanted to know where their belongings were, advised maintenance took them as they were not supposed to be there. Gentleman states they were supposed to be there two nights and that his wife had paid already. I replied that was we were told when we made our reservation also, only to find out that was not so. Gentleman went up to the office to find his belongings. I asked the wife if there was cable on the site and she replied so He did not know, I checked and the cable connection is there and in tact at the rear of the site, "deluxe" I ask, no she answered... some time later the gentleman returns and they end up leaving the resort? So, today around 3 PM I get an in person visit from the CEO who basically told me that I did not experience what I experienced and that they have been more that fair by "refunding" the second night, this brought a smile to my face as he was essentially denying his staff failed to charge me in the first place. He advised me that I should wipe the smile off of my face and I replied that it is funny how all of this is suddenly my fault and that I should be greatful for his supreme presence no generousity and that he would be glad when I left. I told him that his customer service was lacking and that he was treating me like a piece of $&@?, he replied that I was a piece of $&@?, told him to go to &@$! as he stormed off of the site. Now we have been RV'ing back and forth across the country for six years and have never, repeat never had an experience on par with this one. What a way to finish up a 6,300 mile trip.

Love staying here but they advertise a pool that is 84 degrees; it is not! This is one of the reasons we like spending time at the resort. So many great other activities but my favorite is spending my afternoons at the pool which is running about 77-78 degrees. 😞 Hope they adjust it soon.
