We stayed for three nights in room 2 downstairs. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Lots of nice touches - filtered drinking water, decent size fridge, kitchenette. Bathroom was clean with lots of hot water in the morning. Room had air conditioning, but also a big ceiling fan which was perfect in November. Breakfast was great, don't skip it.... More

Lazlo was here when we arrived 12 years ago. Although we cherish him, he lives OUTSIDE ONLY and he loves when folks sit on the porch and visit with him. Very happy you enjoyed your stay. More

We stayed in the Art Deco room. This is an old house but they have done a wonderful job of making it feel like home. Our room had a super comfy bed, small kitchenette and a lovely sitting area. This blue house is so convenient to local restaurants, the university and public transport by streetcar. We walked. Tuscon is great... More

This is a beautifully furnished home with eclectic furniture and intriguing art. Hostess was personable and friendly and fixed the best breakfast we had in our two-month vacation. I would heartily recommend this for any Traveler.

We stayed four nights at The Big Blue House and loved it! Great room and breakfast and knowledgable and friendly hosts. Tuscon is a great base to visit attractions in the surroundings (f.e. Kitt Peak NOAO, the Titan Missile Museum, Saguaro NP and the famous Boneyard tour). The Inn is close to excellent restaurants and bars. You can hear the... More

The property is very close to University of Arizona and the Courthouse. The room was very nice. A great breakfast was prepared by the very attentive hostess. Easy street parking. I would definitely stay there again.

I've stayed here a couple of times while visiting Tucson and I love it! I would never dream of staying anywhere else in town unless it was fully booked up already. It's super comfortable, clean, quirky, and the woman who runs it is SO COOL; very sweet and funny! The prices are beyond reasonable and it's perfectly located. I can't... More

We stayed here and really enjoyed our interactions with the son (whose name I failed to get) and our e-mail interactions with Ken, the owner/manager. Location can't be beat. Grapefruit tree out front is pretty cool for this Northerner. My only word of caution would be: careful if you have a cat allergy. There are a few cats on the... More

Big Blue House was recommended to us as a great place to stay in Tucson by a friend. The hostess was incredibly gracious and the accommodations were some of the best we've experienced at a B&B. The house is perfectly situated within an easy walk to the ASU campus, arts district, and downtown where several great restaurants are (although there... More

Our stay was quite pleasant. The rooms are charming and the breakfast served by Leah is awesome. Besides the food we enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the world go by and walking to University, 4th Avenue and even downtown. Did not need to get in the car except to shop for room essentials and groceries for daughter who... More

We've been going to Tucson for several years. We have a student we visit periodically who studies at the UofA. We usually stay in hotels off campus - the Marriott on campus is typically sold out. We decided to give this B&B a try. It was a fun adventure. The room we stayed in was upstairs and had a fun... More
