We had a great stay at Bed and Bagels! My husband and I visited with our dog for a weekend getaway. It felt like a home away from home. Sharon was wonderful - breakfast was delicious each morning, she had great local tips and advice and was so loving to our dog, Nellie. Our room was spacious. The shower had great water pressure. The sliding door to the backyard was amazing for our dog; she LOVED the backyard! Thank you for a wonderful stay Sharon!

My wife and I recently spent four days in Tucson, staying at Bed & Bagels. Sharon is a warm and friendly host. Breakfasts are excellent, and Sharon often stays to have breakfast and chat with the guests.

The house is in the northeast corner of the Tucson area, with easy access to the Catalina highway up to Mt. Lemmon and many hiking areas like Sabino Canyon and Tanque Verde Falls. The B&B also offers easy access to places like DeGrazia's Gallery in the Sun. You can also easily swing south to the Pima air museum without encountering too much traffic. If your goal is downtown Tucson, this inn is a bit far out.

If you don't like pets, you're advised to close your doors. I like them, so I took it as a badge of honor that Mari the cat camped on our bed one afternoon and accepted affection! The other cat is Achi. Yes you can run those two names together!

The hot tub is good for relaxing old bones after a day of hiking.

We had a great 3 nights stay at Bed and Bagels. We stayed with our 3 children in 2 spacious, comfortable and clean rooms with a bathroom. The pool was a great fun for kids. Sharon is a very welcoming, friendly and attentive host. The breakfasts she prepared were delicious and tailored to our kids needs (not always easy…). She gave us great advice on the local attractions. We really enjoyed the location of the place - in the quiet residential neighborhood, while canyons and desert very close to the house providing great opportunities for day trips. We felt at home and will for sure come back if we are again in Tucson! Thank you Sharon for this great stay!

Thank you Urszula. It was so much fun to host your lively, inquisitive family. You are certainly making the most of your extended road trip through the U.S. Your children will have wonderful memories to take home to Switzerland.

I had a wonderful stay at Bed and Bagels. Sharon was an attentive host, ably accommodating my vegan diet with creative and delicious breakfasts, showing me some cool videos of local natural areas, and making recommendations for natural areas to visit. I loved the hot tub, and her dog and two cats were adorable. I recommend this place!

We picked Beds and Bagels because we thought we were going to bring our small dog on this trip, and they are pet friendly. We ended up leaving her home. Was very glad we stayed here. Sharon's breakfasts were excellent and filling. More than we could eat.
We enjoyed talking with her, and visiting with her dog and the friendlier of her two cats.

The King Bed was very comfortable, our room spacious. We had a good saok in the hot tub one evening, but didn't get around to using the pool. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

Thank you, Nora, for taking the time to write a review. I just noticed it (June 21, 2023). I especially enjoyed reminiscing about wonderful years spent in the Davidsonville area. Do come again and bring your doggie with you next time. Best wishes. Sharon at Bed and Bagels.

With her hospitality, Sharon Arkin of Bed and Bagels provided one of the highlights of our trip to Tucson and the Sonoran Desert. The house is gorgeous and spacious, architecturally harmonious with the beautiful desert setting. Despite being an octogenarian, Sharon is an energetic host, preparing outstanding breakfasts (and occasionally more) that show attention to creativity, detail and the need for a substantial meal to send us on our way for the day. Sharon is also a font of information about the city and the region, especially natural areas like Sabino Canyon where she is a volunteer. She has a wealth of books and videos that were available to us for reference, along with a basket full of binoculars to borrow — and a hot tub in the backyard! I could go on but I'll conclude by saying you'll be doing yourself a favor if you decide to stay at Bed and Bagels. I'll be back at the next opportunity!

I try to ride my mountain bike where ever we travel and we went to Tucson for a canine event. While my wife was at the event I went mountain biking at Fantasy Island in Tucson. We stayed at Bed and Bagels of Tucson Bed and Breakfast. Totally dog friendly place to stay. We sat under the clear night sky in the hot tub by the outside pool and sipped wine while looking at the crisp stars. Great place to plan your Tucson stay and Sharon makes some wonderful breakfast so you are fueled up before the start of your day. Feel right at home at Bed and Bagels.

Sharon is a wonderful host and makes you feel very welcome. She makes wonderful breakfasts each day and really accommodates food preferences. We stayed for a week and there was something different and delicious each day. We also really enjoyed our conversations. We are very familiar with the Tucson area but she even had suggestions for things we had not yet done. Don't hesitate to book, staying here will make your stay in Tucson feel like you are coming home each evening!

I found this little gem when I was planning my trip to climb Mount Lemmon and visit Tucson.
My host hospitality was literally at the "next level". Evidently, from a bed and breakfast, I was expecting a nice room and... a breakfast. I found so much more. Someone who was able to direct me toward the best area to visit and the good restaurant. On the day that I climbed Mout Lemmon, I was even invited to share the dinner with them.

This was a great vacation for me and my host attention to details and help was a great part of it.

I enjoyed my stay at Sharon's. I came to the area to cycle up Mt. Lemmon, and she was supportive. No sassy looks or telling me to put the bike in the garage. Her breakfast was very plentiful and all home cooked. She even had some interesting Jewish specialities I enjoyed. It was very much a room in her house, so may not be for everyone. She has animals, and they were all very friendly. I especially loved the two cats. Hot tub was great after the long ride. Great wifi.
