Smoke detector missing, wires exposed, tissue container jagged and sticking out of cabinet, remote non working, live bugs, hair in shower, ceiling cracked and coming down in bathroom, no hair dryer ... breakfast was nothing anyone would want to eat. Need I say more?

I would NEVER recommend a stay here. Live bugs in shower, hair in shower, tissue container jagged and coming out of front of sink cabinet, smoke detector missing with exposed wires, no blow dryer, ceiling cracked and debris falling. I didn’t even consider the “continental breakfast”. I would be hard pressed to rate 0 stars.

This was the worst motel I have ever stayed at. As a women alone I did not feel safe when I arrived or even when I left in the morning as some man was trying to bum a cigarette off someone standing and smoking at the front door. Everything was terrivly worn down in the hallways and the rooms. There was no coffee or breakfast ready in the morning as advertised.

I unexpectedly needed a one night lodging in Tucson when my renters stayed In my Tucson home 1 extra night. I remembered seeing very cheap rates posted along the south side of the interstate 10 just south of downtown. After stopping at a half dozen similar motel chains, and not finding anything below $100. a night, I stopped at the Travel Lodge with its $44.95 + tax sign. It was old, minimal, but clean. If cost is your primary factor, take the Travel Lodge !
