If you are planning on staying more than 5 days, this is a great deal. Rooms are equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay; dishes, utensils, pots & pans, dish washing soap, paper towels, full size fridge, microwave, small stove. You even have access to complimentary washer. Stay was very enjoyable. Front desk was excellent and always helpful.
Nice place, not too big and not crowded. Pool area clean and organized. Plenty of things to do in surrounding area. Only bad thing was a lot of traffic in the area. Wish it was more out of town. Took a while to get from one spot to another
Everything was clean and nice. But the layout of the suite wasn’t what I expected. The second bedroom vanity area is outside of the actual toilet/bathtub area and exposed so that there’s no privacy when brushing teeth or anything else. The vanity area lights were too high up which made it difficult to correctly apply make-up. The kitchen has no oven and the stove is only two burner. There’s nowhere to put the dish drainer as the burners are right next to the sink. The refrigerator is ideal for a child or short person but irritating for a taller person. The Smart tv would only allow Netflix to stream through HDMI but not Prime. Quite annoying. At first, it felt like we were in a ghetto area. But after driving all over Tucson…we couldn’t tell the difference. I think the lack of any type of greenery threw us off. In the end, the neighborhood seemed to be one of the better ones. …
We had such a great visit to Tucson thanks to this wonderful place. The pool stayed cool and the 2 bedroom/2 bath (room 313) place was fabulous for enjoying time with our grandson and his mom's family. The kitchen was perfect with just the right sized fridge (large, but not a house fridge) and ice maker, 2 eyed stove, microwave, toaster, and others. The balcony was HUMONGOUS! We enjoyed watching thunderstorms brew against the distant mountains. We could easily watch loved ones in the pool. Everything was so perfect. Our master bedroom was HUGE as well. We couldn't hear the kids in the living area when they wanted to stay up. Thank you to Varsity Clubs of America - Tucson!!
The resort was wonderful. The staff was great. There are a lot of fun activities on the property. Our room was a big ADA suites with a roll in shower. We had a big outdoor deck with a view of the pool and the mountains. It was also very quiet and peaceful.
Cannot say enough about the staff at Varsity Club in Tucson. Karla and Amanda and of course David are always ready to help a visitor - new to us was Rosie and she was just fantastic in helping my legally blind hubby who had just been released from the hospital. Our requests were not that unusual but did need a bit of time and Amanda, Karla, and Rosie went out of their way to help us. Brandon was also new and a great help with luggage because hubby cannot see and I this year was using two (2) canes to walk and the luggage situation had become difficult. Thanks staff for a short but wonderful visit.
Got a 2 room suite with balcony facing the pool. the space and cleanness was excellent. All staff working from front desk to cleaning are great and very helpful. While the pool area is a must in hot Tucson was also super and easy to use.
I did not expect the room to have that much room. Grandkids had a great time playing games and swimming. Office associates were very helpful and friendly. Great location to restaurants and not far from the freeway
Everyone is nice, service was very good and the property is clean and well maintained. Lots to do from well equipped gym, pool and whirlpool and great game area to use. Large TV’s to watch U of A games (Woman’s Softball World Series was fun) or other sports!
Varsity club is a nice place. The pool is nice and the fitness center is better than most. The only thing I did not like is that the fitness center did not open until 7:30 A.M. I needed to get my exercise done earlier and ended up having to go outdoors. I also wish check-out was later than 10:00 A.M.
