I visited the Hotel Tucson City Center in both January and February of 2016. This hotel sold a few months ago and supposedly is undergoing renovations. While I was there I discovered mold growing between the glass and the picture on the wall. The picture was roughly 4' by 3' in size, and when we moved the picture the entire... More

Completely disappointed. Dirty floors, smelly rooms and we asked for a change of rooms. No better. Filthy tubs, toilet wouldn't flush. Was unaware of renovation going on. Extremely disappointed. Won't go back

This hotel is in the flux of change. It is an older property that is showing it's age. That said, new owners purchased the hotel last fall and have started renovations. The hotel is well placed for the Presidio area of Tucson and is a good price. Even with the upheaval of renovation construction the staff was helpful and pleasant.

I was event director of a good sized group event held in Tucson (about 35 rooms booked). As I do not live in the area we booked this hotel as our events host hotel based on online photos and a discounted rate offered to our members. Our contract was signed 7 months before our event. Unfortunately the hotel was sold... More

This hotel, as well as having their lobby under construction, looks like a 1970s apartment complex. The building is old and it is right next to the freeway. The room was okay, but not the cleanest. It also was quite old, especially the bathroom. I also did not feel entirely safe in the hotel nor the area. It was quite... More

Hotel couldn't (or wouldn't) find my reservation and was unwilling to provide service. Their only solution to the problem was paying a higher than advertised rate for the night. They were obviously price gouging me because of the check-in time. I ended up staying at Ramada down the street. Hotel Tucson wouldn't honor my reservation and TripAdvisor wouldn't give me... More

stayed there one night out of three. The room was very old and beat up, finish in bathtub was peeling, countertops had busted corners...some sort of dried up body fluid on the bathroom door...not much good to say about this place...will not recommend

The rooms were dingy, the linens need to be updated, the couch was old and lumpy, and the bathroom was moldy. This is not what one would expect from the photos on their website. What is really troubling is that our credit card was charged twice for a one-night stay. And the charges were made WEEKS after my stay. I... More
