I have stayed here numerous times and I'd say 5 out of the ten times ive had some type of issue such as my room not being ready at check in and having to wait an extra hour and half almost for them to clean my room. Had that been an hour and a half late check out im positive i would of been charged. Another instance is i asked for a 10am wakeup call to be ready to checkout at 11am and it didn't happen instead i was woken up by housekeeping and when i asked the front desk to give me until 11:30 because i didnt receive my wake up phone call i was inconsiderately told no and after 11:15 id have to pay for another full pticed rate. I had an issue recently where there were flagging my account for smoking and no one in my party smokes when i tried to reach the managers i was told to contact"Nicole" and so i did. I spoke to her asking what exactly was the issue and i wanted to know how they came to that assumption and she told me to allow her time to look into it and she was going to call me bk later that day. I NEVER got a call back so the next day i called and mind you that each time i call i wait on hold at least 30 mins to talk to someone so when i got ahols of the hotel they asked me what my call was about and they put me on hold and shortly came back to mh line and told me Nicole was in a meeting and she said she would call me back. No returned call and since then i notified my personal host Marta of this situation via text message and once again i got no response. This casino lacks so much consistency and customer service skills its sad. We the consumers are treated like we dont matter or that they arent the four star resort they claim to be by far and only a handful of hotel staff are friendly snd inviting to the consumers. You honestly feel like a bother and now the fact they are avoiding my question as nd cant answer me to why they are denying me really makes me see how unprofessional and bow much alot of employees dont care about the way they perform their jobs and besically the only time we matter is optional depending on whose working and that isnt how a four star resort should treat their customers. I really am disappointed in this gotel staff and dont recomend this hotel to anyone looking to be treated well or deal woth managers who also drop the ball whrn u want to contact them. I deel they are avoiding me since ive yet to hear back crom as nyone and thats a shame their four srar resort isnt four stars at all. Go to desert diamond hotel they have much more professional employees…
We chose to stay here instead of our original hotel because weather was going to be in 60s and too cool for just a pool. This place has two jacuzzi tubs, one is hot and other very hot with a hard jet for getting kinks out of your back. Also, there are lots of tables, a poolside bar and fire pits so you can relax in the evening when not using the pool. The property is well maintained and the decor is very nice and classy. Very nice rooms and bathroom. Beds are large and comfy. Small fridge for keeping drinks cool. Nice toiletries that talk about the cactus flowers and plants. Self parking nearby or valet available. Fairly close to Saguaro National Park and downtown Tucson. Be sure to get pool view room if you can fit spectacular views over pool to golf course and mountains.
This casino/hotel is amazing! The Estrella, where we stayed, is amazing! We checked in and the woman (so sorry, did not grab her name) was SO kind and lovely. Two women, actually, who checked us in. We immediately went to the main casino (2 min walk) and loved Moby's - great diner, and also the casino itself is amazing!! We LOVED our room - so posh and spacious. The bathroom is huge and beautiful. The view of the pool (with waterslide) was amazing, as well, and very relaxing. We are going back in April, for sure. One tip: skip the buffet (the patrons are a bit..... you fill in the blank:) -the food was good but not amazing. Coffee place in casino also amazing, and we want to try the Italian place next time (it was closed when we were there). 5 star visit!!
I only visited the sports book, named Sol Sports. It wasn't Vegas but it was roomy, clean, with comfortable seating and the staff was more than willing to help. A big negative was that there was no horse race betting. There was however futures betting on all sports. Being smoke free was a big plus. The casino itself was crowded for a Tuesday p.m. It seems to be the go to casino in Tucson. My drive from north Tucson took over an hour to this "country" location.
We stopped in at the Prema Lounge for Happy Hr. We ordered Margarita s (delicious) and the Prema Burger. We have been to the Lounge many times and have always found the burger fabulous, not tonight. Our burgers took a long time and when our food arrived, the onion rings and fries were cold and our burgers were as well. The usually delicious pretzel bun was stone cold. It was like they came out of the freezer and the patty was put on it to warm it up. It did not. We ended up taking our food home to warm it up at home. We have, for many years touted the Lounge and the Prema Burger, bringing many friends and family to The Lounge. Very disappointed.
Two evenings at the RV park and a day of golf. As always the course was in good shape and we tried to get 18 holes in before the expected rains hit. The RV park was clean and hook ups were reliable. Check in staff were not properly trained to know all aspects of the park but check in was easy. Would recommend although a bit over priced
We were uncertain which resort in Tucson to choose to get a couple of days of sun and pool time. I am pleased that we choose this report. The pool area was large, plenty of umbrellas for shade, and well maintained. There are cabanas and nice lounge chairs - not just the plastic, cheap mediocre hotel models. The staff at the pool bar (and every where else in the resort that we visited) were friendly and happy to provide good service. The best part was that we got resort level accommodation (pool and guest rooms) for much less than traditional resorts in the area. The restaurant prices were cheap by our benchmark, and pretty good quality and variety. The pool bar happy hour was really a bargain - makes it feel good to enjoy a nice poolside with a $5 HH top shelf drink! Lastly, I was slightly concerned about smoke since it is a casino. They do a great job segregating smoking designated areas so you can avoid (or partake) as you wish.…
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. We are from Seattle so we wanted to get away and enjoy the sun. This hotel is gorgeous. Comparable to a Vegas hotel. The room was great as well as the view. The food was great and their were many choices. The one big bummer was that the pool heater wasn’t working so we really didn’t get to enjoy the pool, otherwise it would have definitely been 5 stars!
We stayed here twice. Both times were very nice. My bed was perfectly extra firm. I slept like a baby. We did decent on the slots. I loved that the hotel is nice and clean. Love the bar in the lobby. But the best part was the food. Abuelitas (inside) Our go-to for breakfast. We are rice and beans folks. Everything was cooked to perfection. The price was perfect. Starbucks (inside) Always been a favorite of ours. I have to have my Honey Oatmilk Latte on ice with extra cinnamon. Bellisimo Restaurant (inside) This place is AMAZING! Our first time here I was in the mood for chicken piccata and it wasn't on the menu. Our waiter had the chef come out to greet us and see if he would do a special order. Did he ever! Not only was the chicken piccata amazing he also gave us extra sauce for bread dipping. They carry one of my favorite reds by Quilt. Our experience here was so delicious we brought my mother on the next trip. Mom was so impressed with the food and she's a hard person to please. Mom does not eat white sauce. Until now. The fettuccine alfredo was to die for. The chef was gracious enough to come to see us again at our table. He really took care of us. We will always come back when in town.…
This is one casino which Does Not Pay out!! Few Jack Pots observed; with Few Winners! Extremely Dissatisfied after multiple visits. This Casino is not lucky !! A lack of electrical energy is missing as no ambiance enters the bldg. Even Worse... Alcoholic Drinks are not free...Pure Ripoff Casino!!
