Hotels were all booked for University of Arizona Parent's Weekend so I picked this Inn from the B&B listings on TA. Since the rest of our trip used points for lodging I thought we'd splurge for two nights in the Arroyo Bonito room. And it was a splurge! It's a BEAUtiful, comfortable room, nice shower, amazing copper air-jetted tub, and...

Spa like accommodations. This place was a true getaway. Immaculate , convenient, peaceful , delicious gourmet breakfast. So glad we booked 2 nights. I can't say enough good things about this place. The story of the house is also fascinating. To think that Merle Norman built this ranch and used it to entertain her employees. I don't want to leave!

We just got back from a week at El Rancho Merlita. It is our second time staying there and my wife and I agree that it is the best B&B we have ever stayed at. Here are our reasons why. 1. The place is super cozy but so open with great views. Watching the birds and critters out the back...

Hi all, Myself and my friends visit the US every Summer and travel around different parts. This year, our stop included Tucson and we books the Inns at El Rancho. This genuinely has to be the nicest (or at least top 3!) of any places I have ever stayed in. The rooms were beautiful (and our friend was upgraded) and...

Every once in awhile on my travels I come across a place so amazing that I am reluctant to share because I want to keep the secret for myself. The Inns at El Rancho Merlita is one of those places. It is perfect in every way. The rooms are clean, cozy, well appointed and the breakfast is amazing with no...

We have stayed he numerous times and always leave saying "Isn't this place Special" This time stayed in Merle Norman suite, this bed and breakfast used to be her private ranch. The suite was extra special, jacuzzi tub, steam multi head shower. Fantastic King bed. Has a private patio. If I could find a complaint, it was that the TV...

My husband and I stayed here a few weeks ago and were overwhelmed by this lovely property. Everything was perfect and we felt right at home in this large, beautifully decorated ranch home with many private spaces. We stayed in the very pretty Black Mountain room. The landscaping, pool, fountains and outdoor areas were gorgeous. Sitting on the patio eating...

Being from Minnesota we were looking for some place warm to go and do some photography. We decided on Tucson, and then needed to decide on a place to stay. I did not want to stay in the usual chain type of hotel but my husband has always been leery of B&B's. Then I came across this place on the...

We have stayed here for 3 years now and each time, we enjoy it even more. Wonderful location in the dessert with grounds to wander and rooms in an old ranch. Many thanks to this guest for returning to The Inns at El Rancho Merlita and sharing her experience! Our rooms allow for quite a variety of light. The Merle Norman Suite has a large picture window, 2 glass door, and three additional windows. Spanish Colonial has almost as many and faces the south and gets lots of sun. Many guests...
