Our stay at Tanque Verde Ranch was amazing! The staff, the food, the surroundings - excellent. The wranglers were good at paying attention to individual needs. The rides, lessons and other activities was outstanding. The breakfast ride with blueberry pancakes and the cowboy cookout was also highlights. But what will stay with us forever is the feeling of staying at the ranch. Thank you to staff and guests for making this a memorable stay!

A great stay that met and exceeded our expectations. Beds and rooms were comfy and clean. The food is quite good, and coffee is available throughout the day. But the best part of the ranch is the staff. Everyone was cheerful and friendly in a way that felt really genuine. The wranglers are tops and VERY patient. There’s a LOT to do here. The website does not do it justice. It is an older property with rooms in bungalows and clusters, and accessibility can be an issue. But it’s very well cared for and updated where it counts. We will be back.

We stayed here overnight whilst visiting the area from the UK and had such a wonderful time, the grounds are absolutely beautiful with so many hikes into the saguaro national park available. We stayed in a roadrunner lodge and the view outside our window was fantastic it was like waking up in the middle of nowhere! The food was incredible the different dishes available in the buffet were delicious and the pastries were amazing. The staff are an absolute asset to the ranch, the reception staff couldn’t do enough for us and we were welcomed like family, every Member of staff we came across was so friendly and I always feel you can tell how a company treat their staff from how happy and relaxed they appear and they certainly are here! Definitely a great place to stay and reconnect and relax.

This trip was probably my 10th visit since first coming in 2011, and while I love the memories every time the ranch seems to be going downhill. First to address, the rooms, which the first accommodation ("Mi Casa Su Casa") I was placed in was extremely outdated and had a very dark and musty smell. For someone who suffers from both allergies and asthma, this is not a great way to start a vacation. After a night of asthma attacks and a lizard coming up my shower drain, I asked for a room change and was quickly put into room 31. This had clearly been updated and was a much nicer stay. I would recommend Mi Casa Su Casa be demolished and rebuilt for guests health & safety. The food had definitely improved from recent years (but still not as flavorful and creative as it was in the early 2010's) but the service was a little slow. It would have been nice to see a rotating lunch menu every other day, and many days the buffet food did not catch my eye. I also did not appreciate having to add gratuity to every meal, it really takes the charm out of "all inclusive". As a 21 year old solo traveler meeting friends, this really tacks a lot on. I prefer to leave cash tips for the staff at the end of my stay, like it was done years ago. The horseback riding program is always fantastic. I quickly passed my lope check and was able to take a desert lope ride on my first day. The wranglers do a great job of taking care of the horses and they have great options for riders of every level. I also took the mountain adventure ride with young Joe which ended up being a half day ride with gorgeous views and mountain waterfalls. One last thing to change would be the way the ride sign up works. While I was there they were trying a new service where guests have to sit down and sign up on an IPad. This was very time consuming and was difficult/frustrating to figure out even for a youngin like me. I much prefer the online registration system that uses your confirmation number from past years

Great place to stay, to experience the beauty of Arizona. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating and the facilities are lovely. Our first room had a musty, “off” odor, and we asked to change rooms, and were changed and even upgraded, no questions asked. Most exceptionally, we got lost, while hiking some adjacent trails in the 103 degree heat. We were able to get a cell phone signal, called the desk, and 2 staff members located us, based on our description, and came to rescue us with a vehicle and cold water! Now THAT is service! All with a smile, and NO CHARGE.
