Breakfast was amazing, room was cool southwestern style, bed super comfortable, nice little pool and courtyard, super convenient to U of A, and the host was so very kind. We loved it! We will be happy to stay there again.
I had to move out of my house for 2 weeks and was a bit nervous about CDC guidelines and safety procedures. This small, gorgeous inn was practicing healthy guidelines. They directed me to their website to see the exact procedures and I was also happy to see soap and hand sanitizer in several places. We opted for a two room upstairs suite with a balcony and kitchen but the one day I did do the AMAZING breakfast we sat outside in a lovely area and were served by a masked server. No issues at all. Between this or a chain hotel- you will feel so much safer and "special" here. There are only a handful of rooms. We only saw one other guest in the 2 weeks we were there. The 2 room suite was spotless, bed was comfy, we had plenty of tools to cook with, AC was great, refrigerator was full size, and walking daily nearby on campus was a nice experience. AND the pool was nice on days when it was way over 100. (shaded in the afternoons too). I hope I get to do a "staycation" here again soon!…
Many years ago we stayed at the Adobe Rose and decided to stay again this trip. We were not disappointed. Innkeeper Tom makes an amazing breakfast and is a pleasure to talk with. The rooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated. The location is within walking distance to the University of Arizona. We will certainly return on our next visit to Tucson.
Well this place is pretty amazing... super convenient to U of A.. 2 blocks.. Great place in a nice historical neighborhood.. Our room had two desperate beds and spaces.. King bed also very nice. We had a private entrance off the street.. The host Tom let us check in early and made a fantastic breakfast... We met some new people also on a big adventure... It is a great alternative to the giant resorts Tucson is famous for... my family loved it. Will go back.
It is well decorated, intimate and has great artistic touches with a southwestern theme. For example in my room there was cut wall out tiles that depected a wolf howling at the sun. There is a small pool and a variety of private seating areas. The kitchen had snacks, coffee and tea. They have an on-site housekeeper and the owner, Tom, lives there. He is very accommodating. It is located in a nice residential neighborhood so we enjoyed walking around it. We are going back next year.
