I agree with most others that this is a good place to stay in Lubec. Yes, it could use some updating, but was comfortable and very serviceable. The hosts are friendly, the rooms are clean, and the restaurant's food very good. Our room on the second floor had air-conditioning, so I'm not sure about others saying there was none. The...

We decided to stay at Cohills for a trip to see FDR's Campobello summer home after much TripAdvisor review. I spoke with the owner, Glen, directly for the reservation and enjoyed discussing our Irish lineage. We were very pleased with our stay. We spent two nights in the Campobello Room on the second floor, overlooking the famed Quoddy Lighthouse across...

After an 87 mile bicycle ride from Ellsworth, via the Downeast Sunrise Trail, we landed at Cohill's right around cocktail hour. We were warmly welcomed and settled into our comfy room, which had gorgeous views of the water and nearby Campobello International Park. We headed down to the Pub for a big meal and a bunch of beer. Glen, the...

We booked Cohill's primarily because we were traveling with our small dog and they are a "dog friendly" hotel. (Thank you!!) They do not charge extra for a pet. We booked a water view room because they are located with views of the bay, Campobello Island and Mulholland Lighthouse. The fog interfered somewhat with the view, but we were glad...

We had a very enjoyable 3 night stay at Cohill's. If you are expecting luxurious amenities and breakfast you will be disappointed. But if you are looking for a picturesque authentic Downeast Maine tavern and pub and friendly staff you will love it. I inadvertently reserved a room on the third floor, and that made it a bit difficult for...

One of our favorites! Ellen (the chef) and partner, Glen, are always welcoming and gracious. Darlene, Lauren and other staff are always pleasant. We love to eat there and enjoy socializing as well. Lots of locals as well as visitors frequent here. Great food. P.S. The burgers are scrumptious!

Location with great views but below average overall. Sparsely decorated. No blind on the window of The Narrows room and no air conditioning. Since the inn is next to the public dock, it is noisy in the morning as fishermen launch their boats. Skimpy soap and shampoo. No hairdryer. Very basic establishment. Wish I had stayed elsewhere.

If you are a motorcycle tourist like me. Lovely rooms...my room had a view of the Harbor, and Campobello Island. Cool ocean breezes blowing in through the window all night..no need for AC! When I ride about on my bike, I like to park for the night, and stay put. Everything is within walking distance in Lubec which is great....

The location of the Inn is great, with wonderful views of the water and Campobello. We had room 3 on the second floor. It was clean, and the very small bathroom was just spotless. The floor in both the main room and the bathroom pitched rather sharply toward the corridor, seemed a little spongy in spots, and caused one side...

Traveled to Lubec to run in the 1/2 marathon. What a great place to stay. We stayed in the Bay of Fundy Room (Room 9) which has a great view of the town of Lubec and the Bay. Nice restaurant and bar. The staff could not have been nicer.
