We ate at the restaurant - did not stay at the Inn. The restaurant is very plain and simple. The menu is fairly large. I ordered the periwinkles because I have never had periwinkles before. They are like escargot, but really, really small, and kind of a pain to dig out. I'll pass next time - too much effort required.... More

Nothing fancy, but a good deal on a complete lobster dinner! Complete with corn on the cob, french fries and cold slaw, the one pound lobster dinner was under $20! That along with a cold draft beer hit the spot on an October evening! (We only had dinner, did not stay in the hotel.)

Our friends, my husband and myself stayed here in late September. We had both dinner and breakfast at the inn and spent the night in one of their two bedroom suites. I wish we didn't live so far away (Washington state) as this would be the place I would choose when we needed a 'get away'!! The restaurant and food... More

We stayed here the week they closed for the season. The Inn is fascinating, a perfect use for a former factory with an interesting history. Charming, intimate, the owners and staff were delightful ! We stayed in one of the newer houses, lovely, very clean, and a perfect location to watch the sun rise and the sun set !The restaurant... More

When I booked our trip I didn't take into consideration they may be closing. None the less- we were treated like family. We ate all but one meal right in the restaurant & the food is superb. The rooms are immaculate & the views can only be found here at the Inn, the Easternmost point in the U.S. Victor, the... More

We had one of the rooms in the houses on the hill, which had its own balcony and great views! The modern room was clean, fresh and well kitted out. The only negative was some noise from upstairs presumably because of wooden floors! Great restaurant within the building down by the wharf.

We visited during the last week of the season before the Inn closed for the winter. Our room (Deck to Sea) was quite small but clean and nicely equipped with a small couch, frig, and microwave. The bed was huge and comfy. The view from the room and the porch was incredibly gorgeous. Great little restaurant on site. Friendly. Would... More

My friend and I had an excellent two-bedroom apartment for one night. Great views of Canada. The apartment was clean and spacious and the entire place showed excellent attention to detail. It was fun looking out at--Canada! The town of Lubec is romantic, artsy, small, funky.

The inn is a converted sardine cannery/processing center. The original concrete supports add nostalgia. Everything is crisp and clean, the beds are comfortable, especially the pillows. Although there are no TVs, the scenery from your balcony or window is beautiful. Watching the fishing/lobster boats unload their catch and then having it served for dinner can't be beat. It's a short... More

The advantages of this Inn include its low cost ($120 a night for a double room with a large King bed and a view over the harbor), a common area with a shared refrigerator, hot plate, and microwave into which they bring a large thermos of coffee each morning, a good location for walking around the small town and the...
