We stayed two nighst at the Home Port Inn, in two different rooms, because we extended our reservation from one to two nights after our first night. The inn feels like home, with a beautiful living room to sit and read, and lovely, beautifully decorated bedrooms. Our first night was in the library, and the bed was comfortable, with a... More

A truly beautiful home...we were lucky to get the last available room as it was the weekend of the annual Bay of Fundy International Marathon/Road Race. Lots of activity in the town and the Inn. We could walk downtown to Water Street for shops and restaurants. We had a tastefully decorated room on the second floor, overlooking the pretty side... More

We had a great stay at the Home Port Inn! Suzannah, made us feel so welcome! We stayed in the Guest Room which was small but cozy and very clean. The bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. The bathroom was small but perfectly nice with plenty of towels. As stated by others, this is a bed and breakfast in... More

My wife and I stayed in tine Lubec for three nights and were happy with our decision to stay at the Home Port Inn. Charming house with comfy bed/pillows ,had view out to the water and quaint interior décor. Owner could not have been nicer to us and had helpful suggestions. Very nice breakfast in a setting that encouraged conversation.... More

Lovely owner of a a very nice BnB. Good location and our room #7 had a nice view down to the water. Our room was comofrtable, but a touch cramped and the chair by the bed could be removed or a smaller one put there to help. Enjoyed the breakfasts each morning.

Lubec has a gift. The Home Port Inn is a welcome port in any kind of weather though the 24 hours we were there were some of the most foggy and humid days the locals claim to have experienced in years. Very comfortable and clean accommodations. We stayed in the extremely spacious Master Bedroom. As I said it was oppressively... More

We stayed in room 6 which was not quiet due to the thin walls, the door between the rooms and slamming doors. We would suggest room 7 or 3 as more quiet. Room needed some maintenance work. The breakfast was excellent each day. The WIFI was inconsistent which may have been due to the area.

This bread and breakfast was quite nice. We had the "Dining Room" suite. It was downstairs and had two queen beds and a good bathroom. The breakfast was nice with a lot of fruit and good muffins. It was in a good location and we could walk to town.

Stayed there in dead of winter of late 2014. Great B&B in Lubec with good breakfast and great rooms. Enjoyable living room and dining area on ground floor. Nice to come back when cold and snowing outdoors. Owners are very nice and even their cats! Great area... Owners warned us to be careful with your smartphones as the Canadian towers... More

It's hard to think of anything that could be better about the Homeport Inn in the world of B&Bs or small inns. Breakfast times are flexible and there is a choice of cooked breakfast (hotcakes, waffles, eggs) or a buffet of granola, fruit and toast each day. B&B guests benefit from the innkeepers previous experience running a restaurant, now closed, in... More
