This hotel has the making to be really nice... granted they did just reopen. The main entrance and lobby are boarded up so it doesn't feel as grand walking in. ***The bathroom showers look like they have mold in the grout which was concerning. Additionally, the bed was barely made, sheets not even tucked in and we found a contact lens stuck on the sheets. (neither of us wear contacts.... ) We were looking to have our wedding block here but are rethinking this.
Walking distance to almost anywhere. Desk staff very helpful and pleasant. Clean, beautiful. Excellent price. Excellent Coffee (Keric) and fridge in room. We had a great time spending two days in providence on a mini vacation from Minnesota
Arrived and checked in to “renovated East wing” no air or heat toilet not working Iron in room not working no water pressure in shower. Housekeeping walked in without waiting to make sure no one was in room. Expensive parking and waiting forever to get car from valet. Major renovations going on in hotel with loud construction going on. Overall bad experience not up to four stars.
Stayed at this hotel with my husband and 1 year old. The rooms were very nice, and it was very convenient that you could get to the mall and so many eateries without walking outside. Though this was a nice choice, it just wasn't for us, as we felt like the bellhops and such were required to assist us, and we prefer to go at our own speed and do things the way we like them done (especially with a 1 year old and so many things we may or may not want to bring in with us). Had they allowed us to park ourselves and bring things in/out as we pleased, we would have liked this experience more.
We stayed there in February and their valet park damaged our car and refused to take responsibility. You can't trust them and unfortunately there's no choice about choosing how to park - you are at their mercy. so buyer beware. Not professional at all.
