This hotel was great for our stay in Providence with a day trip to Salem. The hote is located right across from the Harbor with great views. Due to covid restrictions the restaurant and bar were both closed by the front desk agent was very helpful with providing us with water and coffee and whatever else we needed. The restaurant and bar are located right in the lobby with sliding glass doors to sit outside on bar stools overlooking the harbor. Since the bar was closed they let us bring our own drinks to sit outside which was great. The location was great and was walking distance to local bars and coffee shops. The drive to Salem for the day was about an hour and 20 minutes. The hotel and rooms were very clean I felt very comfortable staying here. The only thing is that the standard rooms I think are a little bit tight in size but everything else was great.

Hotel's Favorite
The hotel has very good breakfast with hot menu items. The location is wonderful, overlooking the harbor. In the summer the convenience to the ferry to Newport is nice. It is close to Brown University. There is a wonderful walking/bicycle path in front of the hotel. The staff is always very nice. It is clean. The coffee maker is nice to have in the room, and they offer free coffee in the lobby as well. It is always a pleasant stay here.

This was by far the worst hotel I’ve stayed in and I’ve stayed in many. The bed was so uncomfortable, pillows were flat, rug was sticky. No breakfast, bar, or restaurant. And the worst of it all is you can’t even shut the curtains. If you like to sleep in the dark and not have sunshine beaming in your eyes at the crack of dawn then this is not the place for you. Even budget hotels have curtains to close. This was not worth the price I paid and was by far the worst experience ever. Never again Hilton- do better.

We were at this hotel for two nights during our 2 week bicycle trip. Upon arrival we asked the front desk if it was safe to keep our bicycles on the car, locked, and was encouraged to park in the parking lot under the hotel. The second night we were there the bicycles were stolen. The police stated that items were often stolen from this garage. I am writing this to warn others that we were scoped out and followed and the the thievary was planned. The hotel personnel should have offered for us to bring our bikes inside and we should have pushed to do this. The room had a beautiful view and we otherwise liked the hotel and enjoyed the bicycle path. But we were very traumatized, and did not feel the hotel provided the security that was needed in this area. The person at the desk in the morning of the thievery was completely unhelpful to us and the police. The garage was not secure and anyone could park there. This is not typical of other properties we have stayed at. Unfortunately this incident will haunt us forever. Simply getting an apology and points for future stays doesn't seem enough. I hope this incident report will reach someone that will address this security issue.

We only spent one night here- but it was a very good one. The nice lady at the front desk was very accommodating and check in was easy and she gave us a room with a fantastic view and a very comfortable king bed. The room is equipped with a Keurig coffee maker and coffee pods as well as a microwave and a refrigerator. This would definitely be my choice of hotels the next time I come back to Providence parking also is very secure and free!
